Qie Guo Wei is a Chinese director, screenwriter, producer and editing supervisor born in Hebei, China

Guo Wei began studying Chinese literature at the Institute of Drama at Peking University, where he later studied drama and filmmaking under Lin Zhao Hua and Zhou Chuan Ji. Early in his career, he focused on documentaries and CCTV drama series. In 2015, he directed his first film, "Who Am I?" (我是谁).

Since 2019, he has been collaborating with Zerun Pictures under a mentoring-style model to support his transition and growth as a director.
