Born in 1979 in Osaka. Yoshida Yasuhiro studied filmmaking under director Izutsu Kazuhiro and worked on films such as We Shall Overcome Someday (dir. Izutsu Kazuhiro, 2005), and Memories of Matsuko (dir. Nakashima Tetsuya, 2006). He debuted in 2007 as a director with Kitokito and has since continued to direct popular titles such as Leaving on the 15th Spring (2013), Enoshima Prism (2013), Birthday Wishes (2016) and Our Departures (2018). He is also active as a screenwriter.
