Wu Nien Chen is a Taiwanese writer, lyricist, screenwriter, director and actor. After writing his first screenplay in 1978, he became a leading member of Taiwan's New Wave Cinema movement throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He also starred in Edward Yang's "Yi Yi" (2000).

He is the first person in history to achieve the "Golden Trinity." He has seven Golden Horse Awards, two Golden Bell Awards, and one Golden Melody Award. Edit Biography
