Before debuting, he spent several years as a trainee at iMe Korea and YG Entertainment. He was a contestant in a few survival singing competitions, such as "MIXNINE", "YG Treasure Box", and "Produce X 101", but he was unsuccessful in all of them and was eliminated in the earlier rounds.
After joining VERYGOODS, he made his debut as a solo artist in December 2021 with the digital single "Mint".
In November 2024, he re-debuted as 13FOUND's vocalist, lyricist, art director and composer with their first EP, "Found". The trio is managed by Takiel (타키엘).
