Chang Ting is a Taiwanese actress, born as Chang Shu Chin in Changhua County of Taiwan. She graduated from Shanghai Normal University with a master's degree. In 1988, she entered showbiz because of her commercials. She made her official debut in 1989 with the TV series "Adopted Son Does Not Teach Anyone the Fault". In 1991, she became popular for her role in the TV series "Legendary Chien Lung".

In 2006, she won the first TV drama Fengyun Festival "Taiwan's Most Popular Actress" Award. In 2011, she was awarded "Best Actress in a Costume Play" for "Liao Zhai Zhi Hua Zi".

In 2006, Chang and Taiwanese actor Lin Rui Yang got married in Taipei. In July 2009, Chang gave birth to a daughter by cesarean section. Her second child, a baby boy, arrived in January 2012.

In February 2022, Chang and Lin Rui Yang established a new company "Shanghai Yisheng Er Technology Co. Ltd." with a registered capital of 30 million yuan. In March 2022, Shanghai Taobuting Industrial Co. Ltd. was established, and Chang Ting served as the supervisor.
