Kang Seung Chan is a South Korean singer, dancer and member of NEWKIDD (뉴키드). He graduated from Seoul Performing Arts High School.

J-Flo Entertainment (제이플로 엔터테인먼트) wanted to test a pre-debut group, so 4 other trainees formed NEWKIDD and released the single "Will You Be Ma", in November 2017. Then, in July 2018, two new members were added, and the group was renamed NEWKIDD02 (뉴키드02), releasing the pre-debut single album "Boy Boy Boy". These two versions of the group were re-classified as sub-units after their debut.

Finally, J-Flo added yet another member (him), and he made his debut in April 2019 as NEWKIDD's rapper, vocalist and maknae with their first single album, also titled "NewKidd".

However, the full group has not released any new material since mid-2019 as the members have focused on their individual activities, and some have fulfilled their mandatory military service.
