Betty Ting Pei
- Name: Betty Ting Pei
- Native name: 唐美丽
- Also Known as: Ting Pei, Tang Mei-Li, Ding Pooi, Betty Ting, Tong Mei Li
- Nationality: Taiwanese
- Gender: Female
- Born: February 19, 1947
- Age: 79
In 1968, she joined the Shaw Brothers studio in Hong Kong, and Betty was one of its rising starlets when in 1971 she met martial arts superstar Bruce Lee. The controversy and many rumors surrounding Lee's mysterious death in her apartment in 1973 seriously damaged her own career.
In 1976, she married Charles Heung, a Hong Kong actor-turned-film producer, and they had a daughter the following year. Although the marriage only lasted for four years, Betty said Heung saved her life.
After the divorce, she retired from showbiz in the early 1980s and instead devoted her time to Buddhism and living a quiet life away from the cameras.
