Ling Yun

- Born: January 15, 1941
- Age: 84
After completing the two years of military service that is compulsory in Taiwan, he was recruited by Shaw Brothers in 1964 and moved to Hong Kong. Re-christened Ling Yun, he made his Shaw Brothers debut in Pink Tears, starring opposite Julie Yeh Feng. Ling Yun was a top Shaw Brothers leading man for a dozen of years, starring in over thirty films belonging to all genres.
After leaving Shaw Brothers in the late 1970's, he continued to act in both Hong Kong and Taiwanese films and also directed. He retired from the movie scene in 1987.
