She is an actress who initially studied and performed in Japan, later going to Hong Kong where she performed in nearly two dozen Shaw Brothers productions during the 1970's and 1980's. She has lived and worked in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore finally settling in Australia after retiring from the film industry.
