Chang Chih Wei, born in Taoyuan, Taiwan, with a father from Taiwan and a mother from Korea. He spent the first part of his life in South Africa during the furious last gasps of apartheid, and is now living in Seoul, Korea.Chih-Wei has directed a number of short films that have been screened in various international film festivals around the world, including “Hide & Seek”, which was nominated for the Best Short Film at the Asia Pacific Film Festival 2009; and “JANG-GAE”, which won the Rising Star Award at the Macau International Movie Festival 2013. In addition, his latest short film "ONE WAY TICKET" was awarded Best Director at the Mediterranean Film Festival 2016, and also won Best Short Film at the Chaktomuk Short Film Festival 2016.
