- Name: Jeong Da Bin
- Native name: 정다빈
- Given name: Jung Hye Sun
- Also Known as: Jeong Hye Seon, Jung Da Bin, Jung Hye Seon, 정혜선
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Female
- Born: March 4, 1980
- Died: February 10, 2007
She made her debut in 2000 with a role in the movie "The Gingko Bed 2". This was followed by minor and supporting roles in several television dramas, and as part of the ensemble cast in the sitcom "Nonstop". Her breakthrough came in 2003 when she received praise for her role in the MBC drama "Cats on the Roof".
However, on February 10, 2007, she was found dead at the age of 26 after hanging herself with a bath towel. Her boyfriend claimed she had been recently depressed due to lack of work, the imprisonment of her previous manager, and malicious online comments about her physical appearance. In addition, he claimed she had tried to slit her wrists in October 2006, something her family and her agency strongly denied. As her family suspected foul play from the boyfriend, they requested an investigation, but the autopsy established her death as a definitive suicide. She was cremated, and her remains were placed at Cheonga Park in Ilsan.
