His accusers were just cleared of all charges from the defamation lawsuit he brought up against them.

If this is true, it means the court saw some truth to what they were saying. Defamation is taken very seriously in Korea. I feel like this whole lawsuit against his alleged victims painted his image even darker than before, in the eyes of the public, because it looks like he was trying to silence his alleged victims, since the court didn't find his accusers guilty of defaming him. If he had won the case, it would have helped him a bit in restoring his image.

I highly doubt jisoo is getting any stellar acting roles after this case. Military hiatus or not, nothing really has proved his innocence. And people conveniently forget that he confirmed there is some truth to his bullying accusations.

South Korean bullying and the bullying we're used to seeing in the media, are two totally different things (the bullies in that country need to be exorcised, because with the stories we've heard, its difficult to believe they are simply just children), so he is not proven innocent, like the comments below are saying.

Especially with the popularity of series like "the glory" recently, a comeback for him seems almost impossible. The public is yet to welcome him back with open arms.

As of now, he is neither proven innocent or guilty of all accusations levied against him. If there was total falsehood in the accusations, his accusers would have lost the defamation case. If he's innocent of the severity of how the bullying accusations were described, I hope he still gets to achieve his dreams, though. False accusations happen a lot these days.

And people might be asking, why are they bringing it up now? The things he possible did happened years ago. Well, as twisted as it might sound, bullying victims wait till their perpetrators achieve happiness, joy and success, so that when they snatch it away from them, the fall from grace of their bully, can give them some sort of satisfaction.

That's why accusations are released at the height of celebrities career, so that the impact on their careers can be more, in the eyes of their alleged victims.

He will become to the webtoon world, what kento yamazaki is to the manga world, at the rate he is going.

He's going to play the main lead in the adaptation of the webtoon "Bastard".
He will do so well. I'm sure of it. He has the acting range for it.

If he can do with "bastard", what he did with "weak hero", he will become a household name in the acting world.

Whoever is in charge of selecting scripts/dramas for him is doing an amazing job. I can't wait.

The word that sums up the entirety of what this drama is, is forgettable.

In the sea of amazing and outstanding kdramas 2022 had to offer, this bland plot and writing just didn't stand a chance to be remembered.

The acting, plot development, the everything, oozed of mediocrity. I sincerely forgot this drama existed, and that's never a good thing. The plot was somewhat good, until it wasn't.

I think if "Reborn Rich" and maybe even "The Golden Spoon" were not released last year, there would have been hope for it to shine, but they overshadowed this drama so much, for obvious reasons.

Lee Joongi was too good for this plot/script.

The men that are pressed in this comments section are so funny.
The entertainment industry, especially one in a patriachal society like south Korea, has always told stories and depicted sex from the lens of other men, leaving women little or nothing to relate to.

Finally, a drama is released that shows how sex is viewed by women. Finally, a story exists that is telling the story of almost all women is existence, and some people here are complaining that the male characters are written wrong, or that there is a bias.

There are well written male characters in this show. They are portrayed as understanding and open to hearing how their female sexual partners feel.

I think if you are annoyed by the few depictions of ignorant men shown in the story, you should ask yourself, why? If the shoe doesn't fit and you don't feel called out from the type of male sexual partners shown here, why are you so hurt by women voicing how they feel about thier sex lives?

The experiences within this show is a reality for many women, so I think people that feel offended by the portrayal of some men here, should instead take a step back and listen to what the women are expressing and try not to be like the few bad men in this show.

Been cleaning my storage drive this week & all these classics just gave me nostalgia when I first got into BL…
Do you have an old/early 2000s bl list to recommend?

i am so glad they did not shoehorn any romance between Taecyeon and Eunji's characters. I know many other dramas…
Eunji's character and the elder brother had more chemistry to me even. If Taecyeon's character ended up together with eunji's character, it would have been odd.

In episode 13, how was the bomb diffused?
The plot seems too absurd and illogical, even with the usual kdrama mystery thriller tropes.
Everything is happening all at once without any breathing space for anything to marinate.

If he doesn't win an award for his performance, even if it's one award, the industry is rigged.

He's in the top 3 best idol-actors I've ever seen. "At a Distance, Spring is Green" made me know he existed, last year and "weak hero" surpassed my expectations so much.

I was worried he might not represent the angst the main character of the webtoon had, but he showed so much beautiful angst. His angst was angsting so well.

Weak hero class was only his second role and he still embodied tf out of his character.
His future as an actor looks promising.

Senseless trauma pørn. Never again will I trust TikTok edits.

The movie is trying so hard to be edgy, but it just feels empty at the end of it all. Like where tf is the plot? It's giving early 2000's bl vibes, in the worst way artistically possible.

Why do they randomly punch each other senselessly? Who tf wrote this script? Wtf? Wtaf?
The rating is too high in my opinion. Too too high.

Everyone should experience this drama at least, once. It portrays losing yourself and your will to exist in the most perfect and artistic way possible.

I watched this series in the span of almost a year, because I kept breaking down and crying due to how relatable it was.

It felt like I was watching myself on the screen. I have felt lost for such a long time that I forgot that I was. I forgot that this isn't everyone's default state of mind.

I genuinely enjoyed every moment, every dialogue and every scene in this drama. I'm glad I still pulled through and brought myself to continue it, after beginning it almost a year ago. It's ok to feel lost. It's a sign that I'm alive.

If I'm already lost, if I'm already at the bottom of the barrel, the only other option for me is up. The only other option is that I'll be found. I await the day I'll be found.
