I love when shows don't overstay their much appreciated welcome. It was like a more laid back Misaeng.

Which is the point. Nothing spectacular changed for him. It just showed that he felt he was still the same person and his life still had to go according to his routine, with or without the money.

It gave him confidence at work, but it wasn't something that was a constant thought to him, so we never experienced him having prolonged thoughts about it, beyond, the initial time it happened and a few moments at the coffee shop.

The hook was that he still maintained his routine. Not that he won the money.

My favourite was the two lost friends. The free lance guy in the duo felt like I was watching myself. I also really like the running woman story

It's just like would you like a cup of coffee and one day off. I like melo shows like this where the characters just get to exist in circumstances that you can see yourself in and relate to.

The K-drama world is filled to the brim and overflowing with intense, dramatic series. So, to me, shows like this are like a breather. I watched the entire thing in one sitting and I didn't regret any second of it.

The average Kdrama fan isn't accustomed to dialogue heavy shows, so I'm sure the ratings of this show will be low. But, if you like anthology-like slower dramas, you will thoroughly enjoy this one.

The intro reminds me of ‘chasing lightning’ by Le sserafim. So catchy

How old are you? It's almost as if Hyunwook is an actor and will do things in dramas that are necessary in the script. Also, calling a seasoned actress like Jin Kung "some ahjumma" just because your yaoi fetish wasn't satisfied in weak hero, is very misogynistic of you. All of these people are actors. Just because Hyunwook and Jihoon acted phenomenally in weak hero, it doesn't mean you should look down on whatever they do in their other projects.

Take your misogynistic comments back to tiktok comments sections like the immature and shallow person that you are.

How am I to explain that my favourite pairing in a jdrama is from a 2009 medical drama and is between a doctor who travelled to edo era Japan and his medical assistant from edo?

4 episodes in and let me understand something. So he was ok with being on the side of a rapist, while being aware of the details and witness statements, until his chances of working for Noh Taenam became non-existent?

And suddenly he cared about morals and taking the rapist down, only when he realizes that Noh Taenam's mother was actively involved in his parents death?

Are we meant to be rooting for him? The man who was intentionally willing to protect a proven rapist?

There’s annoying kdrama/kmovie children and then there’s Jain. I haven’t been this annoyed by a character in a while. I kept wishing they’d just fling him into the water and the movie would end.

The child actor did so well.

Takezai terunosuke being in a bl is just fate, at this point

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It was very introspective and also helped me question things in my own life.

It's not a basic romance drama. It felt different in a really good way. The characters are well fleshed out and flawed in many ways, but written in a way that no one is a villain for their choices. Those choices are part of their journey, no matter how selfish they may be.
