Park Hae Jin has done a big transformation with this 1, from a loveable magician madly in love with a policewoman in From Now on Showtime to a rough and tough detective—even his physical appearance change. I love an actor that committed to his project.
Baek in ho that received all the love here, and Yoo Jung get all the love. They change the original webtoon to give all the limelight to the second character.
It has been 6 years already. Still found many hate camps toward Park Hae Jin for paying Yoo Jung. He is not the writer here. Go spread your hate to the drama writer and the PD. Even though PHJ and the original webtoon writer have expressed their disappointment during the filming, the PD ignored it and made the mess. Found it weird for the ML to take the hatred when k-actors have no voice in production unless they have shares in it. There is a new CITT webtoon by Soonki that tell the story of Yoo Jung and Seol newlywed life on Samsung IG.
Oh wow can he keep his own accounts, well he has very little following for the years and actor he is tho....I…
it is a sad situation. He stayed with them for many years, even though they have done little promotion of him, did not even do anything with defamation and incorrect info about him. He has a very big talent, multiple awards, and a good package as an actor. But the agency has failed to get him good jobs or even promote him. We are glad this year he has the strength to quit the shit company. However, whenever an actor tries to leave an agency, there will be consequences. They deleted all about him from social media. All long 12 years of work.
My main criticism was the lukewarm kiss like c'mon after all thaaaat. We're in 2022 we can handle a proper makeout…
it was aired at 8.40 on MBC, maybe there are rules in Korea for that airtime, Both are good kisser btw. PHJ delivered the hottest kisses in kdramaland in Forest
Although I'm a fan of PHJ, I'm going to comment for JKJ since I read that some dropped it because of the FL. I was skeptical at first about the FL casting, even in the Naver room, the Koreans don't like her pronunciation. But she has huge character development where you started to fall in love by each episode as the ML did. The character is a policewoman turned detective that can kick ass and know how to ride a horse. She is also tall enough for all the hugs, romance, and fighting scenes with PHJ. I don't find lots of k-actress that can fit the character. She is also able to change emotions naturally. Like what PHJ said, she is the perfect KSH that he got in mind
Thank you for reading and glad that our views about it are similar. Yeah, the things became tropes of fillers…
people are replying to you stating why it has to be 16 episodes. But you just ignored it. It is a preproduced, so the drama is not under any pressure from the viewers. The historical scenes just took 60 minutes to cleared-up many things and not dragging it. Just because of your review, people will just decided not to watch the drama when it is less promoted already by MBC.
I was skeptical at first with JKJ, but she has big character development throughout the episodes. They need an actress that can do martial arts and ride horse. She also tall enough for all the scenes with the ML. She also able do changed emotions effortlessly like the ML. The romance just comes natural and they only date in ep 13, much less cringy than other dramas.
