I think she was trying to let him tell her cause why would she ask that and then directly bring up CC and say that he is a good person?

I think the situation is hard to navigate since he never even hinted at their rs so maybe she wasn't sure how to approach telling him that she knew and was trying to bring it up so she can give her blessing. It's hard to deal with this when you know you won't be here for you child for much longer and I think she tried her best with the little time she had :(

They had no business sucking the colour out of the screen the moment he acknoldged that she is gone. I am crying buckets. It hurt in the novel and its hurts even more in the drama. ( idk if this is a spoiler, i think this was a given but i can add the tag otherwise)

I'm ngl I assume the main driving point is the hate the crew and the actors are constantly getting today alone TXN Dy post had to delete so many hate comments abour him and Zi Yu and im sure thats tiring to deal with

Even tho CC is a red flag he really is a hopeless romantic if you think about it. Even though he is supposed to be this brooding guy with bascially no feelings, whenever he was in love, he was SO in love. The entire WS situation where he said his love for WS never wavered during the relationship and not even 6 years after is insane. He also said he would have bascially forgiven the cheating but what he couldn't forgive is that WS had no problem abandoning him without a second thought. This is so sad cause it really shows that he bascially always will forgive the person he loves as long as they love him back. Same with WSW where he gave him an out saying that if he was sincere at any point in time he would overlook this entire situation, and he only "gave up" when WSW couldn't even give him that. He really has a soft heart and that is pretty much also the only reason they will get over this break up, cause his way of loving someone is also overlooking them hurting him on purpose 😔 CC defender for life I fear.

If I remember correctly in the novel he thinks it's a nickname his mom calls him by just how she doesn't call him Chi Cheng but rather Xiao Chi

There's also photos that you could see the epsiode lengths and ep 18 had 48 minutes till yesterday but somehow ended up changing to 46 min on all platforms today, so most people assume the nc scene got cut.

I gotta say that the only scene that felt a bit out of place was the bed scene since for us the scene ended with them having a heart to heart but somehow continues with them not even looking each other in the eye, it felt a bit confusing ngl. So i assume smt there got cut if its nc or not 🤷🏽‍♀️ ( tho the implication of what they were gonna do was quite clear in the last eps ig but still wouldn't explain why they somehow back to not talking?)

Oh definitely, I'm not even an emotional person but with certain scenes today I just had to pause for a moment. The actors really did an incredible job conveying their feelings😭

The last one is a bit of a mix but this one is just pure torture, so maybe wait till next week if you want a bit more happy vibes hahah

I was thinking the same thing the entire episode especially the car scene twisted the knife even deeper. I'm really looking forward to seeing him getting bigger roles. He is genuinely such a great actor 😭💕💕💕

I assume he did hide it. In the trailer you see once CC finds out he finds a whole box full of stuff and you can see when WSW was moving he had used mutiple of the same boxes to move. Meaning when he was packing he put everything in one box and purposely left it at the clinc rather than moving it to their apartment. So I assume CC was looking for something specific at the clinic, meaning it was just bad luck WSW probably didn't assume he would come looking

WS didn't give CC the same courtesy and had the man confused for six years on how he lost his boyfriend and best friend in the same night. Not going to lie, I wouldn't give WS any closure either. ☺️☺️

I mean the reason is shown in the preview, its the txt msgs, no? ( obviously something else happened beforehand that made everyone misunderstand why the fight broke out)
