Totally agree, you can also clearly tell GCY is angry about the situation. At the end of the day this situation didn't get resolved sooner cause CC clearly never actually talked to GCY about what happened, probably cause of dpubts he just took things at face value and as such GCY can't actually defend himself since he can tell CC would not believe his side of the story.
Their rs rn seems confusing cause GCY obviously seems to still care about CC but also seems to kinda have it out for him at times and it really just seems like he is hurt and he wants CC to regret just abandoning years of friendship without talking to him first.
Like, I love him for what he did behind the scenes to help clear JXS name (from the past) and punish that bastard…

At this point in time he lost his best friend over a guy and at the same time his best friends still hung up on what happend back then, even though he is in a happy rs he obv is still bothered by what happend.
No one has explained anything and GCY is just made up to be the bad guy, so I think it makes sense that he would want them to meet and that it's revealed what actually happend back then, so that his name is cleared and CC can also move on from feeling like the 2 ppl closest to him just screwed him over.
Is it just me or does the doc's VA seems to have a hard time conveying emotion through his voice? From yesterday's crying scene to todays more angry/ emotional scene the dubbing always felt like it missed the mark ngl 💀 At that point shoulda let the kid dub himself, I heard he is a news broadcasting major in college, I'm sure he has to learn to use his voice correctly for that 😭🙏🏽
But seriously, the dubbing usually doesn't bother me at all, but Liu Xuan Cheng's real cry was SO MUCH BETTER…
I agree, I've seen some comments criticising the LXC's performance but the bts shows he did a very good job conveying the emotions he was supposed to but the dubbing really did a number on him 😭
why they had dubbed the drama and not just let it be in original actors voice?
It's the norm in cdramas so I've gotten used to it, I think the BTS give a pretty good insight why when you see directors actively still giving actors directions like "smile a bit more now" while filming the scenes. Also China has a lot of dialects and it smt either doesn't really fit the character to have a dialect from a region he isn't from or makes it harder to understand if you aren't used to the dialect ( I think especially TXN has a Shandong dialect you can hear out quite often when he speaks)
I'm ngl seeing the bts of Doc crying makes me even more pissy about the bad dubbing they did when he was crying, like there deadass was 0 match up 💀😭 Overall I think the dubbing is fine but that specific part was just... 😔

As for the side couple, I totally agree even in the novel their relationship consent and dynamic wise was a lot greener than our main couples but that's definitely also cause of the Doc's past in which he had a lot of trauma regarding consent and so on, so GCY knows that he has to be especially careful if he wanted things to work out.
I'm really excited to see them actually get together in the show :) 💕💕
