I think it's safe to say the chinese gov. is more than aware of the current situation regarding this drama ( I mean it was clear before but knowing forgein news outlets are covering this was probably the last nail in the coffin ngl 🤠)

Totally agree, its a little annoying they kinda putting stuff out there without making it clear what's happening.


Also I do think they are gonna cut down a bit if they follow the novel in the next 2 ep. they shoulda had an nc scene and I'm assuming with the amount of attention they're getting that they are unsure how much of an issue it will pose 😔

Tho I hope it's also just to polish up the episodes 😔

If you check on their YT channel their episode playlist used to list 3 unavailable videos ( meaning they had the unpublished ep. already in the playlist)
But it shows yesterday the playlist was updated but all 10 episodes are still up and the only thing that changed is that the notification of "3 unavailable videos aren't listed" disappeared meaning they took the episodes also down from YouTube.

So I assume they will re edit the episodes causing 1 week delay. ( tho i do hope im wrong 💀🙏🏽)

I would assume this is them trying to not add on to the mess happening over on the chinese sns. They are always trending no matter what ( its really insane how often someone related to this drama is on the weibo hot search) and it obviously isn't helping when you put more footage out there, so I assume they are laying low a bit especially considering TX's company put out another statement denying the rumors they already had denied and the new ones through a lawsuit.

That's pretty solid theory to be honest. I could totally see that being the reason, and tbh since I barely saw any footage of ep 10, im actually impressed people caught on at all hahah

And like you said it seems most piracy ver. are usually from the streaming sites ( especially keep seeing the gagaoolala ver. which is interesting I would have thought its easier to "steal" a YT vid but what do ik haahh)

Maybe they want people to directly finance them through the YT channel but considering they didn't promote that the YT ver. is "less censored", ( probably cause that wording for 5 sec extra footage would be insane) it just seems like they just be doing stuff for the sake of it at this point? 😭🙏🏽

Yes, love I have since that's why I stated it could have been a creative decision but that doesn't mean it wasn't cut since it was filmed and didn't make the finale ver.? Isn't that literally what cutting is?? 😭

You can always tell when YY has a scene with WSW cause they make her wear shoes with the sole as thick as a sheet of paper 💀🙏🏽 She only wears heels when she has scenes with CC. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw my tall diva walk into the art gallery, she might as well have walked in barefoot. 😭😭

I loved the nc scene the way it was but the scene was definitely cut, if it's cause of cencoring or a creative decision is up for debate but if you saw the og leak there were lines that they had in the NC scene which they decided to either completely get rid off or they changed it that they were those voice overs when they panned to outside the office. ( im assuming that's more likely tbh)

Now why people are so hellbent to argue over this is beyond me. I didn't think this scene was lacking/ bad but ig everyone can have their own opinion on this 😅

I totally agree a kiss wouldn't have really fit into any of these scnes, and the next episode is coming out tmr so idk when thry would even put the preview out now 💀 Lets just hope for the best ig 😞

It seems it wasn't after all, there were 2 statements put out, one stated that it was cut by the director and then another statement followed that there was supposedly some miscommunication and the episode was 39 min long originally ( obv it could be they're back paddeling but i dont rmb a kiss scene in the novel either so dk where they would have been kissing tbh? It's been a minute tho so maybe there was)

Do be warned this book has several problematic things in it like very blatant racism, it doesnt come up like every chapter but its there so yeah...

I would assume major plot points will probably stay the same. For example that scene in the intro where they are playing around in the water is also in the novel, and it's right after CC is done with his trial where the others are bascially trying to tease WSW with water guns/ balloons before CC gets back and they won't have a chance to hahah ( it was very cute)

So I assume he will still almost go to jail and stuff.

Smaller stuff has already been changed for example WSW is colour blind in the novel, which caused a lot of issues in the novel but it seems he isn't in the drama ( from what I can tell) so they will have to change certain plots that involed him not being able to differniate colour :) 💕

This will be a bit all over the place cause im writing it as im rmbering stuff, sry.

CC and WSW get together pretty soon, somehow WSW still does not manage to actually let CC why he initially approached him even though they get into a relationship.

WSW ends up founding a LED company ( they seem to have changed that CC is only gonna work at the company in the novel he helped WSW out a lot but also still worked for his dad).

CC ex shows up and bascially wants to get back together, it ends up causing a bit of an issue but not cause CC wants tk get back tgt. It's also revealed that Guo never slept with his ex but rather what happened is that the ex thought Guo and CC had a thing for each other so he made up this whole thing of cheating on him.

The reason CC finds out that WSW actually used him to get back at YY is orchestrated by Guo since he bascially felt that was the best way to make CC forgot about the hurt his ex caused is to make up a reason he should feel hurt and more focused on WSW.

The end up breaking up cause WSW thinks CC wants tk get back with his ex ( he doesnt) so he bascially tells him he never loved him ( obv he did).

CC had also been taking care of WSW's mom all this time since she has cancer, and during the break up she ends up passing away :(

CC then pretty much gives up on being mad at WSW cause he can't keep seeing him bascially withering away after his mom's death.

CC parent's don't approve of his rs with WSW so some stuff happens and CC almosr ends up in jail 💀🙏🏽🙏🏽 during the 5 days before his trial he is in a detention centre and WSW's company also got shut down for some issues ( dont rmb) so to come up with the money to bail CC out WSW has to sell his mom's house, his car and use all his savings ( it was quite heartwarming tbh, cause in the novel it's shown actively that WSW puts money iver everything so him being willing to give it all up to get CC back was quite cute)

The ex also had brother who has a thing for WSW ( but he doesn't really try anything, so they are just good friends)

I probably missed a lot but Ig that the gist ( I hope I didn't mix up anything but there were 280 chapters so maybe I did, my bad 😔🙏🏽)

Ps: in the special chapters WSW finally gets his wish and they switch positions in the bedroom ( I left out a lot of k!inky stuff like CC filming them, CC putting mirrors on all the walla in their bedroom etc. 😔🙏🏽 he is such a perv)

Nah, cause honestly I've decided it's probably smart to just stop engaging with certain content of the actors that are being spread, cause this is just getting insanely ridiculous. Every other day one of them seems to be trending on weibo for another insane reason from getting mobbed to being stalked to bullied online for a non-existent wife and kids??? It's just making me feel bad for them. I hope the drama airs well and wish the actors a lot of mental strength since they have a couple more weeks ahead of them where im sure people will try to top this crazy behaviour 💀🙏🏽
