Damn, I came to look at this man's profile because I found his acting intriguing and wanted to see him in more dramas... I am not only left speechless but disappointed in the korean entertainment industry...
*sigh* how does a man like this get to continue partaking in successful big budget dramas despite doing something unforgivable and yet someone like Lee Sun Kyun was pressured so badly for taking drugs that it led to him taking his own life... It is pathetically unreasonable and illogical for such a thing to ever happen.
There are other actors who also got cancelled for much less and this guy still roams our screens. Crazy to think this is really the reality we live in...
Series like no other, short, sharp, simple and sweet...
Such an enjoyable series that sails away from the usual kdrama troupes, constant bickering, revenge seething, dramatic arguing scenes etc. Instead, it's more like most western romantic comedies where characters admit when they are in the wrong, act like mature adults and aren't afraid to expose the more raw topics that most kdrama avoid.
This had no reason being this good...though I've seen many of these actors in other dramas, its so refeshing to see supporting actors take on the lead role. A coming of age drama that's perfect for wholesome and good vibes all while being serenaded by an amazing sound track
He's one of my favorite older actors visually...I absolutely LOVEEEEEEE his acting...I really really really wanna…
I agree, unlike the other pretty boys, he has a sense of maturity and masclinity to his acting and visual appearance that its quite appealing. Would also love a romcom with him as the lead. So far my favourite roles his play his in Emergency Couple and Pinocchio which was when I first saw his acting.
I don't know what it is but I just find Kang Min Ah as the finest Korean Actor I've seen. Compared to other lead, there's something familar but attractive I find about her and wish she'll have more roles in K-drama...would never get tired of this face
This drama holds one of my favourite OSTs "Memory" by BEN, gosh I have never been moved by an OST with such emotions...BTW I completed this 2 years ago, and just popped by for some nostalgia...surprisingly when I watched this a lot of the comments than were quite negative about the show, which made me hesitate to watch it but I thoroughly enjoyed this drama and glad I had made the chose to ignore the comments 2 years ago
Don't read the comments and just WATCH IT!!! Its a nice lighthearted drama to past the time with and enjoy...although sorry to disappoint but the ML does a lot of kissing scenes with the SFL but none with the FL which may annoy some at the end but I beg to differ.
Also have no idea why this is classified as melodrama, imo its stems away from that and more closer to drama
It's an open ending but in my opinion, a great way to conclude this drama... recommend this drama for anyone who is after a mix of drama, and romance in a finely tuned manner. You'll laugh, cry, scream in anger...but in the end, find it nostalgic and ironically strangely relieving drama.
around 7-8th episode you start to see the shift towards them getting together. But you really should watch it, there is an overhanging plot twist that helps explain the ML's character and why he acts the way he does
As we know even allegations are enough to destroy a Korean actor's career, for all we know he could've received news of label or brand names and even drama casting dropping him from projects prior to it being made public which could've been the last tipping point for him to commit suicide, it's just too sad to think that he felt that was his only option. As much as I love my kdrama's I sure as hell hate the pressure and torment Korean celebrities are forced to go through because of netizens.
