100% agree, It seems that, this is the message the writer wants to have for this drama.I'm gonna copy what I said…
Yea, if MW won't get any consequences for his actions against FL and he'll just end up with SY the writer clearly can be called an ableist and a hypocrite.

It's impossible to wrap this nicely in the remaining time. it's just gonna be rushed mess
I guess we hyped ourselves for nothing here. I keep telling myself never to overestimate a kdrama until it finishes airing, but sometimes I just can't help myself but to be swept by the hype train.

After ep 4 - well, I'm invested now. I thought it moved too slow, but the pace is just right. It's not the roller-coaster…
It was explained. Mrs. Kwon's family served the boss' family for generations. Back in the day lower classes didn't have surnames in SK. So boss' family eventually gave their servants family their own surname.

Why are the brother's surnames different though?
Writer's surname is a pen name. He took it from his mother's surname.

I'm not having high hopes either. Too many new sub plots were introduced late game, shouldn't have done that with old ones still unresolved. With most of the episodes' time being taken by the cases, there doesn't seem to be enough time for characters' personal plots to be explored in full. I've started noticing it after the main couple started dating. With two episodes left and new sub plots squeezed in I feel like they gonna rush some things.
Not unheard of, many kdramas don't know how to end properly 🙄 We'll see how it will go in the end, but I've tentatively lowered my rating based on the last two episodes that were a complete let down.

I think first of all Naksu has to find her body, if it even somehow still exists, lol. Then the rest is easy,…
Jang Kang doesn't have the ice stone, he sealed it off before disappearing, and hasn't reached Hwansu, but he is still ok 20 years later after using the soul ejector.
Gil Ju's ritual was interrupted, it went wrong. So I'm guessing that's why he went wild.
All in all, I think those that eventually return to their own bodies are no longer soul shifters. Because it was said that being in a different person's body, especially not closely matching one, is what makes soul shifters run out of energy and go wild.

If you rewatch the episode when he was in king's body, Jang Kang asked his assisstant for a soul ejector. At that point the ice stone could have already been sealed by him.

She shouldn't. Jang Kang didn't. And Gil Ju did because the ritual failed.

help fr!!! also in her agency posted that she has some pending Tvn drama that can't be revealed, overthinking…
Just gotta wait until part 1 ends. Then I think everything will be officially confirmed. Not long now, just until the end of this month.

The last 2 episodes seems out of flow. Them going to Jeju island, them visiting in laws, their break up, attorney…
Hey, nobody expects anything great from Cage Minamdang, lol. And people have the right to critique badly executed plot points and characters behaving out of character all of a sudden. You like it, good for you. Some people have higher standards for a perfect drama.

I still don't know if I watch this drama or not. I wish rating had this option to see the age of people who rated…
Out of all those you've named I rate AoS the highest. It may even exceed EAW depending on how it ends. AoS is very different from EAW, it's your typical fantasy on the surface, but it's actually a fresh mix of genres and has a very unpredictable plot.

I'm confused. Jung wouldn't take the wife's divorce case because they had represented the husband in the lottery…
He won't represent the temple himself, he said Hanbada has a division that deals with cases like these.

So for Naksu to get her own body she needs to reach Hwansu or she needs the ice stone to prevent her from running…
I think first of all Naksu has to find her body, if it even somehow still exists, lol. Then the rest is easy, don't even need Hwansu or the ice stone, can just use a soul ejector.

i like Yul more than the ML..and he looks like Cheng Yi lol...
It seems that everyone who favors Yul are just in it for his looks.
What about his lack of character development and actor's bad acting skills with perpetual poker face?
Yul actor has nothing on ML actor, imho. Just a subjectively pretty face.

I have to say I am laughing by now at all the posts about how basically dare we be unhappy, and express it, about…
I'm not that upset about the main couple breaking up, tbh. I'm somehow not too invested in them as a couple to begin with, and I'm sure they'll make up in the end, because this cliche plot's been done to death in kdramas. More upsetting was the hamfisted execution of their break up with some out of character behaviour.

But how they handled MW and SY in the last two episodes is what pisses me off the most 😡🤬! MW should be punished for bullying and undermining FL, him suddenly acting like a normal person shouldn't make his past deeds go away. It's especially bad considering it sends an ableist message that's it's ok to trample over disabled people, because normal people too have problems.

And SY shouldn't be such a dumbass for him all of a sudden, completely out of character - she knew he was an asshole all along and hated him all the previous episodes. And now they're gonna pair her with that sly weasel instead of some genuinely good guy like she deserves? 🤦‍♂️

⭐Just My Opinion - Please don't take it to 💛⭐Penning it down cause I was disappointed with last 2 episodes…
I disagree about MW not agreeing to TSM's plan. He already started enacting it by talking to WYW about her times in Hanbada, with suggestion that another firm may be better suited for her, and sending that evidence envelope to lawyer Ryu under her name. If WYW was caught disclosing that information she could have been fired. Don't ascribe him any noble motivations just because he suddenly stopped being a jerk on Jeju island. People don't change, especially so suddenly. It's just bad writing trying to make us sympathize with that skunk weasel with these cheap shots.

And Hanbada CEO's motives were disclosed already, albeit partially in a deleted scene. After dumping FL's father TSM stole her rich boyfriend and then married him. And TSM's law firm is a big rival to her own, she wants Hanbada to become number one law firm in SK.

Title Alchemy of Souls Spoiler
can some please explain the relation between mu deok, so-i, and cho-yeon's sister?? i am kind of confused
Mu-Deok's body is actually Jin Bu-Yeon's, 10 years lost elder sister of Jin Cho-Yeon. So-i is a thief who knew Mu-Deok/Bu-Yeon from Sari village, where Bu-Yeon ended up living after almost drowning in the lake (porbably lost her memories). So-i used her kindness and even robbed her. She was looking for Mu-Deok in the capital to use her again, but got captured by the villains. The villains forced So-i to play a role of fake Jin Bu-Yeon, so that mama Jin would accept her and in gratitude turn to the villains side and support them with the might of Jin clan.

I heard there's a breakup scene. And I'm at ep10 waiting for all episodes to be out so i can binge.
Yea, many sudden sub plots were introduced in the last two episodes, not sure why so late and if there will be enough time to resolve them. Feels like ending is going to be rushed.
But the most jarring thing was that many characters started behaving way out of character, from main couple to side characters. And they're hamfistedly trying to make the audience sympathize with a skunk bully, even paired him with SFL 🤦‍♂️ Guy deserves to be smacked with bad karma and fired, not rewarded.
