On It's Okay to Not Be Okay May 14, 2022
Trying to find a decent drama among the recent ones is a difficult task I see. Because the scores for some are so overrated, it seems, for various reasons. Like this one. It started interesting - rich bitch FL, ML with a difficult life. The premise about everbody having some quirks and mental issues and overarching moral about not putting labels on people so easily were also good. But then it turned into such a snorefest after about 6 episodes I had to fast forward lots of scenes up into the last one. Lots of predictable cliches, overly prolonged scenes, and villain could be seen from a mile away. ML being such a crybaby all the time and actor's constant use of dramatic pause in conversations was really annoying by the end. FL was more or less ok.
Anyway, the only saving grace of this kdrama was the older brother - actor did a really great job at portraying a quirky guy with an autism, loved his acting in Touch Your Heart too. Also, fairy tales' vignettes were cute.
