This felt thai but also not so thai. Plotwise it's not that good but the aesthetic and the crazy good editing was just so phenomenal I could look past it. The nail art theme was so undeniably unique and satisfying to watch. I think the actors also did the best they could with the storyline that was given to them though it was quite messy. Never thought I'd like Baabin at the end lol.
The editing team and the creative director needs a standing ovation, like really it was so good!
There are a lot of things to consider, so I'll list them down.- Seo Kyung realized that something was off. As…
Exactly. The point was Chief was just a bad mother. And unlucky to the boot. It didn't matter if her son was arrested and put to prison, or let loose and free to kill whoever he wanted to because in all the versions he ended up suiciding. The only possible way for Chief to change his fate was to go back in time and not abandon her son. This is the fatal flaw she could not change as the train could only take you to a parallel world in the present time, not the past.
In all the worlds she hopped to, her son was already in prison which is why she chose to let him kill in the final world thinking that would keep him alive. It's not the fate that killed his son, just her terrible decisions stemming from guilt and warped mindset after experiencing 5 deaths of her son.
"When I was a kid the reason I wanted to be a doctor was because my parents were happy when I told them so. When I got a high score on a test, my mom would ruffle up my hair and pat my head. I wanted to see my mother smile. I'm sure there was something else I wanted to be... but now, I can't recall it at all." This scene broke me beyond repair because this was my exact relationship with my mother. I sobbed so damn hard that I got a headache. Excellent delivery from Haruma Miura.
