The voice fits the character of this drama, idk what are you saying. It is lovely to my ears. International People forget that there also dubbing guidelines and standards you need to pass (+the target market are CNETZ), if they cant the actors need to hire dubbers. The theme is romantic comedy. It feels just right. If you watch her playing minor roles you'll know she puts effort and her voice can be calm sounded lady, antagonistic, etc. Anyway, she also get dubbing job. I would also like to clarify that YSX fans mostly promoted the drama of LBFAD alone because cnetz before doesn't trust Dylan Wang acting because of his last drama and Shuxin have more followers than Dylan on Weibo so she have people who love to follow her dramas.🥰

You don't know that she also COMPETE to dub this role. The dubbing also gets approval. She also gets dubbing job and they have dubbing guide and has to pass a standard. Not all actors can dub without passing standards. REMEMBER THAT! The target market is Cnetz. Even if she doesn't dub this, the character will also sound this way. I don't know if your familiar with other C dramas but some (but really most) actress there are dub with also this same sounding dubber hired from them. It is that cute voice that sells. They love the voice. They praise her articulation, Annunciation and pronounciation and audience can understand her even without subtitles because of that. Simply ask your country's broadcasting channel to dubbed it for you. That's the idea why people dub other country's drama because there people have different tones that are endearing to them. You may hate the tone of Jdrama, Cdrama or Thai Drama but that's part of the charm.


For me I really love the voice because I'm used in watching Asian Dramas since I was a kid so for me the voice is endearing to hear. I guess different perspective. Just be open-minded. She's a great actress following the direction of the higher up or directors. Don't mindlessly say that she doesn't put effort because she does.

I think all the actors are taking progress one step at a time. Plus some of their characters can be macro same but micro different because they have different narration and story if you get what I mean. YSX also plays different character like a prim and proper lady, a kind of bitchy concubine, twins which one is nice and other is kind of bad-assbut this role are in minor roles or in advertising film. She has a movie where her characters' personality is calm but was never released.

Though thinking of ZBB, it is funny and lovely that his dramas is somewhat always related to plants 🥰😂

People can share different thoughts but I hope they do some research on how most of cdrama /j drama female lead especially in c-drama xianxia are mostly commonly lead by cute/feminine/sweet girls. So those avid watchers of cdrama xianxia naturally have no qualms about it and naturally really love it so they have urge to voice out their feelings in reply to others' contradicting feelings about it. I just hope those comments are mindful and won't force their "ideal strong female character" since there are tags, posters, and trailers that can put them off from the start. You are given a premise from the start. There are no scarcity of dramas especially there are many others to choose from like thai drama, bollywood, Hollywood etc to cater their likes or cup of tea. There is if you tend to have shorter vocal chords and it's normal for female to have higher pitch fyi plus factor your language, accent. It is sometimes tiring to modulate your voice all the time. Yu Shuxin wants to play other roles but when she attended a class, her teacher said she must be known first at where she good at then she can explore other roles. It opens her mind. The different role she plays may be similar at being cute but every character have different personality, nuisance, principles, likes and dislikes so Yu Shuxin is a good actress at making them unique on their own way. Even her senior Janice wu started a lot with cute roles before going into serious roles. It is a progress. Plus she indeed play other roles when she act in drama with a minor role or supporting role.
