I think the premise is that her cast mates are the one who gonna draw something on her face. Maybe she would do it herself now because they are all busy 😭

The tv series uses a lot of symbolism and don't really narrate directly like how the other xianxia would where one character will narrate some part of their plan. I think they want the audience to be engage in the storytelling. Which is a good thing. They assume we can understand their artistic style to present easily. I reckon, they want people to watch it all over again so that the rewatch value will be high. But I'm not that smart to comprehend all of it 😭. People can come up with many interpretation with the symbols they used.

This drama is somewhat made with many symbolism so it is hard for audience to consume same with me, I'm might interpret it wrong. So don't take my interpretation as the truth especially they have not concluded the story.

Tai Sui actually represent inner hearts desire, as long as you have it, he can tricked you.

Back to the topic, why there is an inverted frame before DFQC said he is willing to sacrifice XLH, because it is not DFQC, it is Tai sui in my opinion.

That scene is actually a representation of DFQC inner desire to save his tribe and part of a tease coming from Tai sui. He knows DFQC needed to sacrifice one, but he presents himself as a solution. Now, I realize it he actually refuses Tai Sui's offer. He's betting XLH to unloved him and remove the bone orchid, get Chidi's primordial spirit and revive the 100,000. It is just that XLH loves him that his plan failed. I think Xunfeng is triggering her until the very end or either way she unloved DFQC or sacrificed herself because of love, it's a win-win for tribe so he's willing to follow this plan.

(The other one desire is obvious, it is to be with XLH forever, hence explanation of why his primordial spirit is so strong to protect the dream. It is also hinted in the dream that the destined marriage bothers him a lot so even he knows it is all fake, his willing to be consume by it, thankfully snap out it. - I think This desire will also be brought up again in the last episode of the series)

~ If you are familiar with what's happening on Chidi on the latest episode that's it. ( I think ronghao wants the body of XLH because it is pure and cannot be affected by any dark spirit and he knows Chidi mortal realm memory are full of suffering, but his plan failed ). I guess Ronghao is not that dumb that Tai sui have a trick on his sleeves.

I'm actually an INTP but now more of INTJ. It sometimes frustrates me why people cannot analyze things first especially when people can empathize with a male character and they cannot do it with female characters. If the scenario didn't favor their bias, they will throw a tantrums like they never heard of conflicts between characters before. I like how all characters make them live like they aren't a tool but a part of the whole story. They have their own mind,feelings that make their story intertwined with the main characters narrative naturally.

Don't mind them. Those are the avid fans of hellfire. They truly value the principle of the moon tribe 😂 Because they will only honor and respect the strong and powerful. Kidding aside, watching this drama for too long, these are people who I find bit annoying, like DFQC once said to his father "Am I just a tool for you?" I want to slap these words to these people. But warring them don't make them understand me. Like DFQC, their maturity and their "love tree" can grow overtime.
