yeah i get that. I wish they cast better actors in Korean bls, I thought eith more exposure it'll get better but its just getting worse every year. And there will never be an influx of regular actors like how it is japan where they do bls and also other non bl roles.

it'll be more obvious if he was a very good actor but its hard too tell tbh, but I mean i dont think it was made to sweep any awards anyway

I promise you the kiss scenes are not the issue, cherry magic is probably one of my favorite bls and they never even shared a proper kiss but through their acting, you could feel their love and affection for each other even before, I think its an acting problem, maybe directing too? than it is about kissing though you do have a point on them needing to commit. I think its not getting better because regular drama actors won't do bls but other countries major actors often do bls so it comes out good because there's production, promotion but kbls have been getting worse every year and now seems like idols are just getting in to blow up before they move on.

balloon tactics was so cute, also suffered from being rushed but at least the acting was good and the chemistry was undeniable

I have not rewatched it ever since as it was too dramatic but its based on a true life story so I think that moved a lot of people. For me, it first the romance was what pulled me in and it was enjoyable but tragedy of what that meant for the ml to be tied to this man who could never only be for her. I think you should give it a try some more but maybe its just not for you, it happens.

I domt really see this drop in quality tbh, I wonder if its just nostalgia a lot of people are holding on to or if someone can properly break down what they thing but I still enjoy Kdramas and the longer you watch, it's easy to know what you would like or not. Or why you would not like sth or not.

who legit thought it would be a gl, this is South Korea plus. I haven't watched yet but o see more people mad at miscasting and the love triangle but idk. are you enjoying it so far?

I cant even complain anymore because the standards are in the gutter for kbls but episode 8 is my favorite episode so far. I'm still enjoying this bl despite its imperfections. i do love me some angst.
