I wish they subtitles did not suck do bad man. Ep 5 and Stakes are getting higher now, Dr Woo does not seem to care anymore about getting caught and this drug dealer dude she keeps getting involved with. Damn she helped her mum commit suicide?, she knew who she was from a very young age .

I really hope we get to see some intimate scenes between the leads because for now its giving siblings

I'm not looking forward to her trusting her former manager again tbh. His face and cockiness pisses me off so much. I hope that other actor shes always fighting with does not betray her and was not oart of why she got hurt in the first place. he is kind if a loser but does not seem to be a bad person. i really thought we would get more romance jn this shoe but j guess we see her trust the cop more and rely on him more when she needs someone and he will finally get to protect her from the danger he wished he had in the past

I always avoid stories with a sick lead, i know these stories have to be told as people with fatal diseases also have people in their lives that love them, but its just always so sad to me

still watching episode 5 but her mentioning that the detective in the past had darker skin pissed me off, he was just a bit tan. korea really cannot move past their colourism and putting fair skin on a pedestal.

Lol so true about ml from BOF being in a psych ward. Fl was also way too much of a pushover. I felt obligated to watch it back then as it was when I was first getting into kdramas and I dont think there were as many I got recommended. But now I almost never watch dramas that I know I won't like certain characters.

Omg yes I did like love Scout a lot. Felt comforting to see some equal footing finally though we have a female CEO but it felt very balanced and ML wasnt this perfect rich, downbad dude with no other goals.

Lee Min Ho was really an era. I did like legend of the blue sea as well though I haven't seen personal taste yet and probably will not as i kind of cannot stand his acting anymore. I also liked him in king Eternal Monarch though I think Kim go eun stood out more. And he was decent in pachinko as the villain character.I'm just adding this list for my own reference and as I reply.

4. Sweet Mobster : It was on my list but thought it was a damsel in distress type show so haven't given it a chance yet, i see after you said that as well lol but i'm glad she has some character development

Familiar wife : I probably binged like 10 or so episodes in one night because I just couldn't stop watching to figure it out, I didnt like the ml much but I think FL also was abusive to ML in her actions and her words so it kind of felt like that type of situation to me though the show painted as the ml being the one that was ungrateful only though he was in some ways

6. Divorce Insurance: I have not watched but maybe i'll give it a chance, Lee dong wooks last 2 roles dont seem to have been eye catching but Im excited for season 2 for the actions tv shows (A shop for killers)

9. Goblin [ was a popular one for sure but the high school part just threw me off so never thought to watch it and fl still looks super young all through

10. My Boyfriend is a gumiho : Cute watch, the second ML was very annoying snd could not get a hint though, dropped some ways through but the first half was definitely excting

11. On her wedding day : Cannot deal with the trauma omg, who waits for 20 years really

13. A Man and a woman : It seems to be very intense emotions portrayed and viewers will feel it too though haven't watched but just from clips online]

16. Queen's House and Woman Who Swallowed the Sun : I don't watch daily dramas but may give them a chance

17. Once again and my father is strange I enjoyed a lot, I dont know how I finished them as I mostly watch short ones, one I liked as well was Never Twice[very sweet with green flag and flawed ml and flawed but mature fl who had a kid]

18. Extraordinary Attorney woo definitely very forced in that sense of his feelings but thats very typical with kdramas. But I was happy they had difficult conversations about their relationship later on

19. Twinkling watermelon was a fun one and I enjoyed potato lab too quite a lot

20. Yes my dearest nemesis I really enjoyed except in the later episodes with the breakup

21. Haunted Palace has been on my list but its listed as a horror so I dont want to be too scared

22. The first night with the Duke [ I enjoyed first half as well but it kind of fell flat with the random betrayals, so haven't finished but the chemistry was good]

Oh this golden days drama is 50 episodes, I definitely did not know that haha.

I can't give full explanations and maybe you have watched some but for me, for good romance or romcom dramas I watched and enjoyed, with flawed mls:

- Love to hate you

- Brewing love

- Gaus electronics

- Love your enemy

- Doctor Slump

- The story of parks marriage contract [ jerk ml but understandable to an extent with the circumstances but I still enjoyed it and think the writers did a good job making me root for him]

- Call it love [ ML kind of a pushover but to everyone, very thundered type of ml but he is emotionally in tune and cares deeply]

- Bora deborah

- The matchmaker [ historical drama where ML of high position falls for the one woman he should not fall for]

- Our beloved summer [ this is a drama that really moved me as I had not seen a fl like this before shown as often we see the ml make these types of decisions, did not finish but we definitely have flawed characters here even though I think the forgiveness was not needed but its very realistic and kind of shows how flawed each are]

- Dali and the cocky prince [ funny drama but flawed ml who is unabashedly himself and cocky but he is not a jerk, and fl is strong and smart]

-summer strike

- Youth of may

- Run on [ greenflag ml and fl, very mature leads too]

- Do you like brahms [ Female lead felt kind of weak in the begining but she was never weak with her feelings and expression but here we have 2 musically focused people falling in love, one that has been in the limelight for it and there is new blood coming into play and then one that has been fighting to be recognized for their efforts though not as talented]


Unrealistic but I enjoyed these:

>>Lovely runner [ Never stopped loving his childhood love after many years despite feeling that his feels were unrequited]

>>Business proposal [ our rich male CEO with all the money in the world to spend on this low income chef at his company]

>>Mr plankton one i completed but had a toxic ml in my opinion who just waltzrd into fls life after he dumped her 3 years ago. But as the drama progresses, we come to learn why they were together and how similar they were in the first place.


>>More than friends [ I enjoyed this but i think the ml was a jerk as the FL had feelings but he kept leading her on and keeping her aside only to later realize his feelings, but i let it slide as I believe he grovelled]

I mean its nice kdramas shows green flags but accordung to the news and from Korean women online , they are often more interested in non respectful things. I also just think its more beautiful when we have a man and a woman falling in love with each other as people rather just a story where it just seems like 2 characters are put together because they are ghe ml and fl, and the fl needs someone to save her because she can't even stand on her own 2 feet.

I'm probably going to keep watching this drama because I think they are doing a good job keeping me curious on what happened the past 25 years. I signed up for a silly romcom but not that much mystery or physical assault literally so idk. its just okay drama for now, not phenomenal but also not too bad.

yeah i never felt comfortable watching goblin but I know the world we live in. most age gap relationships will be and older man younger woman, for the most part for me ots acceptable as long as they are grown enough. I hope the actor doesn't get hate though, uts not his fault he got cast but he's really a good actor, just doubt this role will suit him but we'd have to wait and see I guess

Its not always about pedo because the actors are grown too but obvs young like young 20s. I dont even mind as much if its an age gap romance as long as they are adults but putting a man is 30s who looks older in uniform with a fl who looks like a teen is weird lol

Only watching for the spice but they have crazy chemistry is killing me lol

For jerk mls: I know of the heirs, boys over flowers, princess hours as ogs, I started watching kdramas when male leads started getting greener so honestly I actively avoid dramas where the ml is a flat out jerk and is just allowed to be because he's a man in an evil world and his parents abandoned me or sth so he's going to make that everyone else's problem. more recently I watched crazy love and I could not stand the ml for the life of me.

Unrealistic green flags: lovely runner comes to mind, I enjoyed the drama though, I think the romance kind of balances out because the fl does put in a lot of effort in showing her love to me as well. I have not watched 'when life you tangerines'and I know the romance is not the main or only storyline but its pretty vital. Maybe its the viewers perspective or because its mostly a straight female audience but the praise for the ml kind of irritated me a bit, like damn the dude is not flawed at all except his pocket. I dont need perfection or being evil just regular people yk.

Nah for a lot of the ogs, even after they have berated the fl so badly and somehow fall and their heart melts, there's often still that subtle mistreatment seen imo. of recents, the green flags have been very unrealistic that i don't even want to watch some except the story is interesting. Will you recommend this drama so far? I hate love triangles

I dont think the high school will play that big a role in song joong kis drama? they nay cast younger leads and even if they habe flashbacks, its still better as both leads are similar ages so it will look funny both ways. meanwhile this movie has 2 very clearly youngleads and then the other one looks like 15 or 20 years older wearing a high school uniform, looks weird. Again, I like the actor but sometimes you have to see how it looks playing high school roles at a certain age and who you are acting with as well.

I did not know people were accusing of queerbaiting, all the comments i see are people actually just being very clearly homophobic and acting like it's this crime to ship 2 friends. Its expected but the lines to be blurred between friendship and relationship especially for friends with feelings of envy, and shared secrets

I actually hate both, i probably hate 2 men fighting the latter more because of how much the MLS and 2nd MLS get away with for how they express their feelings. but the 2nd FL is always seen as jealous or sneaky

I'm not going to be at the forefront campaigning for queen characters or queer romance but damn the comments acting like even a suggestion of sth more despite characters having boyfriends will send them into a coma. People can and will ship whoever as long as they are consenting adults. your own interpretation is up tow you. People ship second male leads with female leads all the time even when they are just friends so why cant it be the case here. the plot seems interesting, I'm always down to see complex friendships. comment section people need to take a chill People and look into why they hate gay people so much when there are a million straight romance shows.
