The 2018 BR's script was actually written by the novel author herself and this trope (orphan/homeless women training or getting trafficked into becoming assassins) is pretty common in popular media. (e.g the fl in Song Of The Moon's novel had a similar bg but they got rid of it in the drama lol) I think the lack of news from this drama might have something to do with censorship though cause nrta doesn't vibe with protagonists that do bad things lol
