He was like 😡😡😡😡 for 80% of tbw and I just found it so funny I couldn't take his character seriously. Reba carried fr 😭...There are MANY actors in cdramaland that are not even that great in acting but some do at least have on screen charisma that kinda draws you like magnet and makes you crave watching them, even when they play similar characters all the time or are not that expressive on camera. RJL has NONE for me....But again, many ppl like him so it's just my personal opinion.

ML is the typical xianxia main male character whom I am so tired and done with thought...self righteous, cold and "I will protect you by hurting you" bs lol...I don't know but sometimes writers need to seat there and THINK "would women actually fall for such boring men in real life???" for a moment before typing things out...
And maybe It's that I keep watching the wrong dramas from him but I always see rjl give me that angry bird look with whatever emotion he tries to portray and I can't take his acting seriously sorry 😭 but I love YDD's character and her "gang" are funny

And it was obvious from the very BEGINNING in whose favor Huanrui was going forward ^_^ they always put their male artists in priority. The original novel L&R was adopted from is literally a female centric story from the title to the focus of the story and basically everything while they made the drama a promotional tool for who they wanted to. It's totally obvious what goes on in that company but people want to act stupid and pretend to not see it lol

I think this is the only drama that didn't get a trailer for that IQIYI event....It's getting shady now what happened to this show...

Is it really just HER who "ruins" every show or that people want to find a woman to blame everything on??? SYA's plot is boring and bad, Hu Yi Tian has zero screen presence, he doesn't even technically "act" (I don't consider standing in front of the camera and flashing your good looks acting) but ppl praise him all the time cause he's a good looking tall man. His character in the drama was boring as hell and all of these things but it's only Chen Yuqi who made the drama bad???? (Yeah idk what ppl are saying ab that drama but CYQ's character is at least actually cute to me. HYT was just...there i guess...lol) Would it be a good drama with such a boring and bland main characters and badly written script if the actress lived up to your expectations??? No. Because the show is bad and it's not CYQ who made it bad. Mirror twin cities had god awful production and LYF's acting as the main character was absolutely atrocious, is it CYQ's fault that it was bad??? Would the show be any better if she wasn't there when the ML was 50 times worse than her and the script and editing 100 times more horrendous than any "she ruined the show" role she's ever done according to people??? Idk about the popularity of it but it got an absolutely AWFUL reputation in China now. Those videos/GIFs of the disgusting scenes got 75k people trashing the show and ZH, and it got a 2.2 on Douban...probably one of the lowest rated ones out there. It has gotten lots of negative attention on CN.
And about ZH, he's like the Park Shihoo of china lmao...he can't act, ain't that good looking, has nothing but an unacceptably problematic past and nobody in his country has really ever liked him. (yeah he indeed has a fanbase as any other actor does, but local public opinion has always been against him. this isn't a new thing, he's been under fire for a long long time) but keeps doing whatever he wants regardless cause someone does obviously has his back lol...probably a powerful person related to the government or something like that. What I think about why particular actresses work w him would be that they, one, probably just don't care (which I think is unlikely cause why'd want to get dragged for costarring a man who is disliked by many people), two, are in need of money or three, maybe don't have enough freedom to reject it and are forced by their labels. Again, pretty much similar to Park Shihoo, or even some popular actors like Lee Byunghun. Their careers can't be affected by public opinion cause they are connected to or ARE actually influential and powerful people.
