I've been planning to watch it since forever (really love zwy's acting). I was so shocked to see how well received it was since it came out of nowhere and nobody expected it to be good lol

omg I thought i was the only one who was down so bad for this ship that my heart LITTERALLY hurts when I watch them together...I kid you not when I say the burning urge to scream and weep whenever I think about them is driving me insane and honestly Idk what kind of entertainment and escapism this mentally damaging obsession is anymore lol

Omg I never watched LYF2 because people said the same thing about it as well...Now this is why I hate long dramas🫠
I don't understand why they have to be so long if the writers can't come up with proper ways to continue the story smh

I'm not 100% sure but kind of certain they will show at least a small snippet of them in the modern times even if they end up d-wording in this universe. (according to the trailers)

have yet to watch FP's 2nd season yet but yeah I 100% agree since I've watched Love and redemption and nothing can hurt me after that one lol. This 3-episodes-long mild angst is is just child's play to MEEE 😭 like it might as well just be fluff lmao

I don't wholly disagree with them bc villains forcing misunderstandings between the leads and npc love rivals are a bit lazy and cliche as conflicts

Fun fact: Xianyu is the first big ip adaptation xianxia where both leads are 2000s actors and the 00 kids are well knwon for being a really talented gen in c-ent community. (I totally see it tbh bc I find most idol actors to be wooden and scared of looking bad on camera sp in historical and fantasy but these two are so natural and expressive 😭)
