Regardless of the drama being good or bad, it's the hypocrisy that gets me everytime. Top review talking about how the ml saved the show and how "he's always good but ysx is always the same and bad except in mjty" as if LY himself has not been playing the exact same character in dramas with very similar plot and atmosphere every damn year since her debut...is it really that he's such a versatile and incredible actor compared to ysx or just that he's a hot man and hot men get a pass for doing the same thing for their entire career but actresses don't??? Not to mention that ysx picks versatile scripts and actually made the cute white lotus char archetype iconic (by breaking the stereotypes abt these chars always being dumb, quite litterally the elle woods of china!), while most of ly's chars would be painfully boring to watch if he wasn't good looking and charming.

idk maybe we've been on diff platforms bc what I've seen has been all praise for how good cdl's chem was with the entire cast from men and women to kids and cameo characters, and all of it despite the fact that gjm didnt treat the female chars in fof very well and left them underdeveloped
