About the dropping ratings on MDL: 1.are due to Jacsia, who give 1 ratings for seadon1, and now did the same for season 2 (= heater, why bother since you dropped season1 ??). 2.very few reviews - so, please guys, just go and write your views...ok, maybe after a more exciting episode, so you can write a good one ☺️

He actually did :1. Stay away from Eastern palace (where crown prince resides) 2. Being nice and kind is not always a good thing ( apearances can br deceiving).
I so wish someone will make a drama following the book - at least 2 seasons, epic ! I love this drama, but they only took the couple ( which by the way was perfectly cast..)

In the novel she does not trust crown princess, not friendly at all. There is no pottery incident, no slapping, stepping on her hand, no incense balls, no dress on fire..
In the novel, LBY had someone keep an eye on her, because he knew she always gets in trouble, and so he always arrives in time and protects her..the scenes with broken pottery, slap and step on her hand, inscence balls and dress on fire are script, not in the novel..when she finds out, she tells him off, so he stops the " surveillance" and she gets in trouble, and he goes on a revenge spree and gets beaten..after which they made up.rinse & repeat.
About No 1.After CSS understands parents mind from empress, she had little talk with her mother. Her mother even…

Two eps without any sparks,laughs,romance, fight, and made the heroine look petty..here the script deviated from the novel, and not in a good way..if it was one episode, it would gi with the flow, but two ...hope it picks up quickly
You said it all.. That's what surprised me in the last epi . He fell for her stubborn/honest/brave/ repay kindness…
SS trusts everyone who is kind to her and goes beyond borders to protect them..BUT, people are not always what they seems, this is what LBY told her from the beginning, and being "kind" is not always a good thing..as such, he told her not to meddle in other people bussiness... she shld wait, learn, judge and then act...but she is stubborn and act instantly without thinking long term..fi, what if princess 3 really got burned because of her instant revenge, what repercussions will be ?? ..Not to mention het lack of respect at a memorial service which turned into mess...Like her revenge of the bridge - what if some of the girls who did not even open their mouth would be forever mutilated ( broken arms, leg, etc) ?? I feel for her, but she is short sighted, and as such shld listen LBy - trust the man who saved her so many times and declared his love.
