Just wanna say I was so excited for wonderful world before it was released because I was really hoping for a romance between the leads and was really disappointed to found out there wasn’t going to be anything. I dropped it after 1-2 episodes but your description of it has me giving it another chance, rly excited to see what chemistry they have and curious about the stalking! But it still annoys me to this day, like the FL looks younger than 50 anyway….
I don't know if you've already seen it, but here's the spoiler: You start the movie thinking Aiba and Nozaki are…
Thank you very much!!!!! You are a life saver!!! I really appreciate your detailed reply. I heard that his character is messed up and I really wanted to know more but I’m not good with gore movies, so thank you for telling me what happens!!!
i also laughed, when he ate the jajangmyeon in a "manly" way and slammed that water bottle down lol
no hate to eunwoo, i like him and i think his acting is not as bad as people make it out to be. i still think that whole segment was a way to show off him being more masculine in this character, with the obvious veiny biceps. this is a drama where he's acting, if they wanted him to eat delicately, he would. it doesn't matter that if it's the way he eats irl or not, it clearly fits the vision the director had in mind for the character/drama. it is weirder to say that it's just the way he eats when he's meant to be acting. my comment is more towards how that whole scene felt lowkey like fanservice/a "cool" kdrama moment rather than thinking eunwoo was bad in it. no one can tell me the focus on the water bottle being slammed down was not over the top.
while watching, i can't stop thinking that i'd be very tempted to do the same...liking soohyun's character so far. eunwoo looks like an angel in the preview. i didn't expect it'd be 2 eps (?) per week, excited for tomorrow
if this isn’t on disney plus and they region blocked this drama to only a few countries again ima flip bruh…
no joke... if it's not available in australia then i'm gonna cancel my subscription and also try ask for a refund since i only just got it today... pls.
It’s going to be on Disney+ too? Didn’t see ads for it on there…usually, they have for upcoming shows.
yea i don't see any ads for it or see that it's coming soon on there. but the trailers for the drama were posted by disney+ and other ppl here said it'll be on disney+ so i hope they're not wrong. i cancelled my subscription last month, just to come crawling back for this drama lol
i do want there to be some romance here although the thriller/revenge should still be the forefront. we've seen many media depict relationships between older man/younger woman, what's wrong with some appreciation for an older, mature woman who clearly seems beautiful, smart and strong willed which is more than you could attribute to most older men with young love interests. it doesn't necessarily mean they are gonna be together, but i can see eunwoo's character having admiration for her and falling for her. idc if you're against the age gap, this is fiction and clearly a dark thriller, why do people expect conventional/healthy relationships for this kind of genre.
also i don't mind if there's romance between the leads. i'm expecting this to be a dark drama and even if their relationship becomes non-platonic, it doesn't mean you need to find it romantic. kind of like how the couple in The Glory is not exactly healthy, but it's a dark thriller and it suits the genre. if we were just watching a rom com where the romance is the focus then obviously i would prefer for it to not be toxic/problematic.
