I think Yang Zi is also currently shooting for another drama. Though it is a rumor but may be when Xu Kai finishes ABAY then we can see it clearly. If schedule is true then it is going to be 12 months for filming. Can Xu Kai take up such lengthy filming projects?
If it starts then it is going to release at the end of 2024 or early 2025. Xu Kai has 3 dramas to release in 2023 and ABAY will release in the first half of 2024.

Once Airing Date is announced I think Watchers list will increase for this drama. Hope this Drama gets airing date Soon!

Sometimes, few people try to add rumored dramas on to the list just like it happened in the past. Ni Ye You Jin Tian was added where the drama continuously rumored with multiple male leads and female leads. When they found Xu Kai is not yet confirmed, they just removed the drama from the list.

It was good actually. There was little romance.

The show name should be Almost Substitute instead of Almost Lover.

Clarify things :
1. How Xiao Qi realised that he is in love with Xiao Ran? When he found out that she is working at radio station, he hurriedly met her.
2. Fei'er actually thought Xiao Qi as Substitute to find right person for her back then? She didn't want Xiao Ran to date Xiao Qi forever as Fei'er can never date him forever. What kind of theory is that?

Out of All characters, I feel Xiao Qi is immature. he doesn't know where to draw the line when in a relationship. He knows that Fei'er is scheming right from the day she first met Zhao. Secondly, Fei'er is the worse throughout.

Fei'er liked Zhao (broke up with Qi) when she saw he is handsome and rich. Before wedding, she felt Zhao isn't the right guy and she wanted to get together with Qi. When things getting better, she moved on to Zhao side and again came back to Qi with a deal.
I don't get one thing here, She wanted the Triangle to be friends for ever and no dating is allowed. Then Why she dated Qi? when you set a rule it's a common sense to follow it. you broke it.
She doesn't want Xiao Ran to date Qi and that's why she dated him? Isn't that jealousy?

Song Wei Long can be replaced with Chen Zhe Yuan for the role and Xing Zhao Lin can be replaced with Xiao Zhan for better matching with the characters.
