I felt few characters seemed very childish - FL's Mom and FL's Friend (Siqi). They are the most irritating characters through out show. Only last few episodes FL's Mom came into senses. Always calling XuMo as son-in-law just because he visited her 2-3 times. Siqi is a dumb character through out. She makes mistakes and claims that I did just for you (Yan Xia).

This drama can be termed as flop or failed just because of it's editing. Sometimes, you cannot understand whether you're seeing current screenplay or flashback. It was frustrating to always forward. 40 Episodic would have been 20-24 episodes.
Disappointed with it's Editing and Screenplay but it has a good storyline which got ruined completely.
The focus on Support characters is high than highlighting the Main characters - Xing Fei and Wang Qian.
I think most of the C-Dramas have failed in editing the shows the right way.

Yes. So Far All he acted are good. Few are Fl Centric and Few are Support Characters focused. I think FIYS, OUATILM are the only ones which gave ML more screentime.
I think Snow Eagle Lord is based on ML as the story itself is based on Dong Bo.

My main point is that though he has more dramas in hand which are airing soon (like - Snow Eagle, chinese Paladin, Wonderland) that have more than 35+ episodes. These shows should give more screen time presence for ML. Instead of focusing on support characters.

I saw in discussion of sahph. Few claimed that it was postponed due to sudden negative trend campaign on weibo. Anti-fans started rating drama and trended the drama negatively.

They postponed the drama due to this.

Later, it was supposed to air but due to a political campaign scheduled for 2 weeks then they postponed again..

It's she and her perfect husband. It was postponed by tencent multiple times.

I was randomly watching a drama - Magic Grocery Store. It has a new Actress "Zhao Qing". Someone mentioned in the comment - She is Xu Kai's Girl Friend. Is it true?

I meant that the dramas released in 2022 - RF, LIKM, and SAHPH didn't add up more to his popularity.
RF's main benefit is Xu Kai's role and performance. Nothing else matters. It relied on Ancient Chinese with Making of Delicacies.
LIKM had so much advantages but ending derailed expectations. Story was good and Xu Kai's performance was amazing.
SAHPH relied more on support characters than Main Leads. It didn't focus much on FL and ML.. Though there are few instances between Ml and Fl but that doesn't add much to the image.

Mostly in the q1 of 2024. It depends on Tencent. Tencent delayed SAHPH multiple times. Hope it won't delay much for this drama.

with seven tan it is as beautiful as you right? I think it is confirmed. I'm not sure about Ni Ye You Jin Tian because it constantly changed it's ML. first they announced with different ML then changed to chen xingxu then again rumor changed to xu kai.

any news about Zhao Ge? Whether they are going to release it or shut it? ZZH is still under ban? I wanted to see how XK role is portrayed.

I don't think so it started. I think sword and fairy (Chinese Paladin S6) filming done in Q4 2022 and There was another drama (As beautiful as you) which was supposed to start but got postponed due to pandemic. They mentioned the filming starts around q1 of 2023 for 120 days. So, this drama will be filmed around Q3 of 2023.

I hope Snow Eagle Lord which is rumored to release in this Q1 do not possess negativity for him.

Somehow I also watch Xu Kai for his performance. no matter what kind of drama it is. I thought SAHPH would do something but the show didn't work well in his favor. I know historical works more in C for recognition of the actor but I think he should also get more dramas like FIYS (Lively romance) not the one like SAHPH.
His dramas like FIYS, AMA, ALP, & CL were actually good and they worked well with the audience both locally and internationally.
2022 didn't work well for him though his performance in all 3 dramas were amazing. I liked his performance in LIKM, few scenes in SAHPH and RF.
Hope 2023 and 2024 works well for him!
I saw there's another drama - Ni Ye You Jin Tian (Which is based on legal/law concept). Hope it won't end like SAHPH.
