if Wang Xing Yue is 28, we might not talking about this age difference

in visual drama it easy to hide age.

ML's actor is 12 years younger than the FL true. but FL only 33 not 40 if info is right,
and Wu Jin Yan is a veteran in industry

Scent of Time was Wang Xing Yue's 1st work I saw properly, I really thought he might be 28 or 30. but i find out he is 22. he have facial structure that looks older then age.

this drama is a adaption of a novel, like many adaption this drama will might have similar problem,

as cast organize for this drama, i think it will be 90% focused on FL only. 10% for every one,

i don't know how was Hong Kong adaptation, I just hope they will give a good character development for FL

i liked EP1-2 and Crystal Liu perfectly delivered her character.

1. by time Wu Zetian declarer herself Emperor, she already had all the power of Emperor. yes i understand why she had to declarer herself Emperor. but by time Wu Zetian declarer herself Emperor, for her it just adding a TITLE.
2. if I'm not wrong, in history of asia first or only female, Razia Sultana of Delhi Sultanate take the thorn by entering from front door. Razia Sultana take the thorn as her father heir. unfortunately for Wu Zetian she take the thorn by entering from back door.

yes I'm also love to see and waiting see a more complex layered villain.
most villain we see are more plain villain, some even more like born villain.

but I'm afraid, when ever they added complex villain, they tend to destroy story line, even character itself, or they begin to add annoying thing to story line.

recently they did fantastic job with Wang Li Kun's character in The Legend of Zhuohua
not too much complex but layered. with more and less good back story
