Hands down, no matter how much time has passed... no Thai-BL has topped Bad Buddy for me.

Unexpectedly love this drama!! I looove Daisuke's character; it is so rare to see a dorky, ditzy, and adorable male lead with the biggest heart despite how tough his life/exterior is 🥹 . The supernatural elements, in addition to the "kidnapping-gone-wrong" plot in this series definitely made it unique to me. Overall, a very enjoyable watch!! The romance was cute, but I just wish we had moreeeee!! Loved the ending, a 9.5/10 for me <3

This!! I thought I was the only one... it was pretty much grooming whether that was the intention or not.

I actually agree with this take..! I still watched it to the end, but I do feel like the story was lackluster and iffy.

I'm rewatching S2 and S3 for the 4th time and I'm still SO glad Yang Hojun was the comedic relief character in S3 bc he was so annoying in S2 😭

I can't believe I just discovered this masterpiece. Easily made it to my top BLs. It was so raw and realistic. Their love story was beautiful and carefully written and handled with care. I will take this film as Jin turning their love into a story, and Haruki bringing that story to life for us to experience their love with them 💗 10/10, thoroughly enjoyed.

Lowkey wasn't as bad as people say. It's a pretty cute and simple BL with a new gossip scandal every 1-2 eps or so. I do agree they fell in love too quickly, but it isss a short series in itself.

Their communication.. could've been better, but I've seen way worse, so it didn't bother me much. At the end of the day, they just love each other so much that they wanted to protect one another :')

So, SO cute!! I enjoyed this drama so much. I love that Himari is assertive and will speak her mind even if she is shy; I loved her character so much. I also love how Shin and Himari both changed each other's lives. Shin surrounded her with his family and friends, making sure she's never lonely even when he isn't around. And Himari was the mediator and glue needed to bring Shin's family together. It's also a plus that they're also so good at communicating; both were green flags in my opinion :).

Overall such a sweet drama that keeps you engaged until the end. The pacing was perfect; a very good watch!

I also rewatched this after finishing Mischievous Kiss, and boy was Setoyama Jun a breath of fresh air from Irie Naoki 😭😭

I miss Setoyama running over to Nozomi like a puppy 😭.. I initially gave this a 9/10, but after my rewatch, I'm giving it a 10/10. I love how this movie balanced friendship, romance, and personal character growth so well. The characters were fleshed out and not one-dimensional. And FINALLY, we have a male lead who isn't cold and reserved heheh. I wish there were more j-dramas/movies like this <3

Not OP, but I just finished The Road to Splendor. It had a happy/satisfying ending to me. Romance isn't the main focus of the plot, so keep that in mind. It leaned more into politics in the latter half. But don't worry, the main leads had a very happy ending :)

You're right, it does remind me of POJ! I also agree with wanting more romance in the second half. Obviously, their relationship was still strong, but it was strained up until the final couple episodes... I'm still content with the ending nonetheless.
