The ending is open, but it is assumed to be a hopeful/happy one. There is someone who likes Yetan, but they don't cause any drama, and she's very clear about her feelings. Same with Qingkui. They both like their respective MLs.

Should you skip this only because the ending seems to be disappointing?
I personally loved every episode up until ep 14. Although the ending wasn't that satisfying, it was fitting for a transmigration drama. I would still recommend watching it just because the build-up is so so so good!

I’m on episode 15 of this drama and I’m actually starting to enjoy it, but with the last episode being released…
i'd say it is an open, but hopeful ending (that can be interpreted as happy for some). it is just unsatisfying because we didn't get final screen time for the main couples :(
