I'm so sorry I missed your reply, the person above was creating so much drama I missed yours. honestly I expected he will possess his mom. it was so predictable at least to me. I'm okay with him possessing the mom, he got to live her life until her natural death. 32 whole years. and since he survived, he doesn't have to go to hell. that should've been a very good ending. but then everything is turned back around. if we see this drama in a sentimental pov, then it's great. but logically it failed to deliver it's whole potential.

just cause you brought it up, I've seen so many great mystery/ thriller genre dramas, much better, well executed ones. and death's game doesn't even belong to the mystery genre, uts a fantasy/thriller. I don't need everything spelled out and can connect the dots. I never said it was bad, I rated it a 7. but my personal opinion will not change. as you say, if it's up to the viewer to figure things out, then there are more than one answer. I don't want to drag this out either, but you chose to reply to my comment, when there were hundreds of positive comments, and you kept trying to invalidate my opinion. that's why I'm trying to explain over and over again.

sorry to break it to you but at the begining she said he'll go to hell if he couldn't survive in any of the lives he was given. if he manages to survive, he can continue living as that person. and he did in his mom's life. he lived until she's old and died peacefully of age. only at the last episode they twisted it by him asking her of another opportunity where he can live his life again as himself. which was never an option in the begining. that's the logical explanation.
the main lead felt familiar then I checked his previous work and he was in penthouse. gosh that drama drained me but I remember he was really good in it as well. the boy who plays kyung hoon is so adorable. kinda reminds me of jihoon.
cuteness overload! love this so much its so refreshing. I needed this after a binge of few heavy dramas. aaa I was smiling like an idiot most of it. really excited for the next episodes.

it's all about the perspective. what you see is also right according to the way u see it. the fact that my opinion isn't the same doesn't mean I'm wrong. to each of its own I guess. and you definitely belong in the majority who praises this drama, which is absolutely valid. I dont think my rare opinion really bothers anybody so you can let it go.

I know it's one season that's why they're called part 1 and 2 instead of seasons. I also get that everything starts again from him remaining alive. what I'm saying is for me as a viewer, that felt dissatisfying to realise that everything I've seen so far didn't really happen. like a dream.

I understand the potential for a future season, but that also means a repeat of this season in a different perspective. it won't be very exciting to watch. if death is the sole point of the show, they didn't have to bother with all those investigations and the intertwined fates of the victims. that's major plot hole in this drama.
i'm thinking he still exist even in the same time line as his reincarnations. reason being when he went in the…
haha I understand your thought process I too went through a similar one. also a bit confusing how all the other deaths occurred in the span of few consecutive days while the suicide/accident happened 7 years back. there are too many plot holes for them to fill up if there's to be a S2.
this was a very intriguing drama. loved the most of it but the ending was disappointing big time. he gets the chance to start from the ending point of his life, does that mean all them incidents that happened after his death didn't actually happen? both the serial killers are still out in the open and the justice hasn't been served as we thought it was. mom and the girlfriend all are still alive and everything is put back to the way they were? all that great plot became useless in the end. the only hopeful way to redeem this drama from the plain ending is for it to have a season 2 and make him save all those lives he lived before they reach their death because most of them were helpless and unfair deaths, then also take care of the serial killers. that's the only way I'll consider this as a good drama.

oh I just realised you asked how "Yai" showed up on the new house, my bad. thats probably jom's hallucination. because obviously he can't look the same after 100 years. like I said, s2 will have all the answers.
two questions? 1. What is the meaning of the ring? Why they show us it, it doesnt make a difference ?? I dont…
1. these two have been together in another previous life. during the time of warriors and kings. the yai from that time is the tattoed guy with a moustache we saw when jom drowned in ep 1, he's not the one from the 1920s who we saw throughout this drama. make sure u watch the after credits scene in the last episode, you'll get a clearer view of him a hint of a season 2. the ring was there to link that story to the current one.
2. through the last picture khun yai drew of him, the set of pencil sketches he found in the old house in ep 1 was the ones he drew later on in his journey to the past. as the drawings got completed one by one, jom's life in the past started to fade. when the last one was done, he was back in his original life. the present. I believe u know that the house he renovates is the same house that belonged to yai in which they lived together.
I know the story with all the time mix up can be quite confusing, In that case I suggest you to rewatch it. I hope my answers helped!
even though I was discouraged by the comments I decided to give this one a try because I love watching dramas set back in time. and I'm glad I did, this is straight up a 10/10 for me. it was short, had beautiful characters, sweet romance, heartwarming/breaking family moments, a realistic storyline, great acting from all the cast and above all, the mesmerising retro setting. hands down one of the best dramas I've ever seen.
this was a wonderful watch. binged it like crazy. I'm so in love with their dialects. and man oh man Im siwan left me speechless once again. that man can ACT. you don't always find a good drama with great actors, great plot, great action, comedy, family and emotions all in one. loved every bit of it.
fkkkk-- i love kdramas when they're set back in the days, can you guys give some recs other than the reply series…
me too. they are my favourite kind to watch. from what I've seen my perfect stranger, go back couple, twinkling watermelon are good ones. 20th century girl and tune in for love are two good movies of similar settings that I can think of.
I guess its going to be like the beauty inside. so excited. clicked for seo in guk but damn Park so dam is gonna kill it. the poster looks crazy good itself.
this is really exciting so far. I didn't have that much expectations on this but it is indeed good. the actors are doing a great job and the storyline is intriguing. love the gaming squad.
1/10 dropped, disappointedBoring from start to finish. had to cancel that.
excuse me??? I wonder what your favourite movies are if u find this well constructed, well acted masterpiece boring. here after the second watch, this still keeps me very attracted to the story line even though I've seen it once before. it's very intriguing and brilliant.
