the movie is about the friendship between the gay guy and his roommate, the female lead. it's more focused on their relationship and how they support each other. the series is on the guy's love story.
from the screentime seongmin is kinda the main character, and yj and jaeseung, but anyway. hwi and seugnjn are…
I didn't mean the screentime. my comment was solely based on my opinion and their personalities. those 3 people keep dragging themselves lower as the show goes on. idk, may be we'll see some character development in the final 2 episodes.
hwi and seungjin are really the main characters. I'd also like to add something about minseon. he's not much talked about but he's also very young compared to others and still acts way better than most of the older people. we always see him silently arranging his thoughts in a very calm and impressive manner. I love that about him.
very heartbroken for hwi after this weeks episodes but I'm also glad that he got the closure from seongmin so he can finally be free. I really hope he can get over him soon. I'd love to see him opening up for something beyond friendship for seungjin bc there's no one better deserving for either of them except each other.
I had to take a double take on the actors to make sure they're the same I saw in love in translation. phew how drastic of a change a good plot and direction can make! After LIT I didn't have a good impression on the actors but they blew my mind in this one.
I don’t understand the part of the story that relates to Yoon Ho’s illness and his little brother. Why did…
I'm not exactly sure but what I got from it is it's bcs of myths and beliefs from those times, being terminally ill wasn't very common and when someone becomes like that, it's considered a curse and assumed they will affect negatively to other family members. like the shaman said, he thinks Yoon ho's mom died early because she was affected by his energy. it's mentioned that Yoon ho's little brother gets sick often so the shaman says it could be because of Yoon ho's bad energy as well. so he suggests marrying him off so he becomes a separate family and will no longer affect them. the reason why its done in secret is for the sake of the girl bc if people knew, she'll be looked down upon as a widow after Yoon ho passes away pretty soon.
yeongjun and seongmin are HUGE red flags imo. yj has a controlling nature and anger issues, he also seems selfish. sm obvious enjoys the attention but I feel like he's not genuine about hwi. hwi, minseon, seungjin and hanmin are such beautiful souls. I hope they find their true happiness with people who can appreciate their greatness.
Like everyone else here, I also don’t like Kim Ha. She was so mean to Do Ha, yet Do Ha is the one that came…
seriously, the utter shamlessness in her is amusing. I also hated the fact that do hana forgave her so easily, and all kim hana ever apologised was for saying they weren't friends, she had like a hundred more apologies due but they just let that pass. May be bc they didn't have enough time for a deeper plot but it still irks me. and Im no way watching season 2 bc seems like it all revolves around that horrible character.
To say that he forgave her, I don't even think that's right. All Dong Hoon wanted was someone to take his side.…
I can understand your point. but it still made me so uncomfortable. wish they changed it a little bit. made her understand him in a slightly different way like actually having conversations instead of listening on.
