This show didn't click with me, and it surprised me. It just hit me that one of the reasons is I think the supporting…
While I really didn't like the tutor character, I have to agree with you that he was the most interesting. I would really love to have his perspective on things.
I think this was a good one-time watch. The characters were likable. the music was nice. The acting was watchable. If only that grooming plotline did not happen, it genuinely creeped me out whenever I saw those two on my screen.
From my perspective it is. I read the manga before I watched the show and it didn't feel like grooming to me then. But when I watched the adaptation, it felt creepy.
wait so was he in love with her or just sibling love ???
sibling love. That's why you never see them sleep in the same bed. The most affection he shows her is smoothing her head and holding her cheeks which is sibling affection I think (that's what I do with my little sister)
Me too! The adult shaman couple were the coolest and most interesting characters with well-rounded personalities.…
Exactly! You could describe all the teen main characters in a few lines. Seah - track athlete gf with trauma Geonwoo - track athlete bf (we get an 'overcoming his fear' arc with geonwoo but that's it) Hajoon - smart guy who has a crush on Seah Hyeonwook - otaku with strict parents Nari - rich girl who has a crush on Geonwoo.
Out of these characters, I think Nari was the most ambiguous since her friendship with Seah kinda mirrored the friendship between Kwon Si Won and Do Hye Rung.
Hmm.. why did kwon siwon act like she's the victim?
Both Nari and Kwon Si Won were the same - they are very self-centred and when things go wrong, they think about how unfair it is that it happenned to them.
The ending was really confusing , how these both correlate. ? Does that mean siwon didn't die and the curse is…
I think this means that Nari has taken over Kwon Si Won and is controlling the app so that the curse carries on. Remember - only Nari knows the full story between Si won and Do Hye Rung because she was possessed and because Si won's former friends told her. That's probably how Nari knows Si won's birthdate and which is why she made that birtdate the password to her phone.
I'm not making excuses for some of the narrative hand-waving the show does, but I assume it was because she only…
I think Gi Tae only rejected Do Hye Rung that harshly because he was told to by Si-won. He had to do it or else he wouldn't be credited in making the app and thus he wouldn't be able to go to uni.
I have one doubt didn't Do hyer hyung wish for everyone to die. But why only kwon siwon and han gitae died? That…
Even though Do Hye Rung's wish was for everyone to die, the app couldn't grant that wish because the app didn't have that wish-granting ability at the time. I believe the app only had the wish-granting ability through Kwon Si Won's curse (which is why Kwon Si won's phone was the maehyung not Do Hye Rung's). The reason why only Kwon Si won and Han Gitae died is because Do Hye Rung made the DDelomis of them to kill them (as she was taught to by Kwon Si Won's mother). Do Hye Rung didn't make Ddelomi's of Dongjae and Heejin because they didn't directly bully her like Kwon Si Won and Han Gi Tae did.
