I think Koon Si Won already had darkness inside her long before everything happened. Her mother didn’t really…
I've got to say - I think I disagree with this opinion. I don't believe anyone is born with a darkness within them. Kwon Si Won was an intelligent genius with a lot of pride. Her family background as a daughter of an alcholic quack shaman who killed her husband was a source of humiliation. This humiliation fed into her insecurity over her personal identity. This is why Kwon Si Won avoids everything to do with shamanism.
Her mother knew Kwon Si Won did not like shamanism. However, since that girl is her daughter she still expressed her love through the best way she could - shamanism. That's why even though Kwon Si Won neglected her, the mother did everything to save her daughter at the risk of her own life.
Kwon Si Won's relationship with Do Hye Rung is complicated - I do believe there was a genuine friendship between them (the photos they took, sleeping on the same bed). That genuine friendship is because Do Hye Rung knew everything about Kwon Si Won. However, this is a double-edged sword;Since Do Hye Rung knew everything about it, it made Kwon Si won paranoid that Do Hye Rung will reveal it which feeds into Kwon Si won's insecurity over her identity.
Slapping Do Hye Rung after finding the talisman in her bag was an instanteous action due to her paranoia and insecurity. The revenge after that meant the complete end of their friendship and rise of hatred instead.
Adding another detail of the ending . Why would nari's phone have siwon's birthday as password in the first place???
Perhaps its to show the parallels between Siwon and Nari? Nari could have just randomly put that as her password and it coincidentally was also the day Siwon was born.
wait ive finished the show but can comeone explain why siwon’s wish for her mother to die is granted while hye…
Siwon's wish wasn't for her mother to die, I thought it was for the app to repeat itself, thus creating the curse? Also, the app only had its wish-fufilling abilities through the curse which was after Hye Ryeong's wish to kill all of them.
wdym the ending makes more sense with the epilogue? can you explain what it meant to you?
People say it's an open ending and we don't know what happens to Lim Nari - for me, the epilogue explains that Lim Nari died in Kwon Si won's school setting, became a vengeful spirit like Kwon Siwon and is controlling the app which is how she got the guy to find her phone.
so what happened to lm nari in the end ? open ending ? she died or just left school ?
It's an open ending - she might've died in Kwon Si Won's school setting or she is still alive but has become a vengeful spirit like Kwon Si Won and is trying to communicate through the brother-in -law's red eye. Dong Jae did say that Nari and Kwon Si Won were very similar people (which is also shown through their nervous habit of biting their fingertips). Having watched the epilogue at the end of ep 8 - I am now 75% sure that Nari has become a vengeful spirit and is cotrolling the game now after Kwon Si Won.
few flaws here and there with the story but i think it is very entertaining, the acting is incredible !
I was actually quite surprised by their level of acting, seeing how they are all new-comers. I was quite impressed. If their acting was not good, I feel like the show would have been way worse.
what happened with Nari at the end ? Did she died ? i just don’t understand
Its an open ending for her - I believe she died in Kwon Si Won's school setting when the phone was broken. I saw someone else believe she is still alive and vengeful, trying to communicate to the brother-in-law which is why his eye turned red. Having watched the epilogue at the end of ep 8 rn - I think Lim Nari has become a vengeful spirit and is controlling the girigo app now.
I don’t know, but I just can’t get into this drama. There are 8 episodes, and normally I’m used to finishing…
Lowkey had that problem as well. I think that was much i had high expectations for this and it didn't really meet those expectations. When I heard the interesting premise, I thought it would be like Night Has Come. It wasn't really like Night Has Come although at least this had a way better ending.
What was the purpose of the note they got from the medical room which geon u keeps?
I guess it's to show the difference between Do Hye Rung and Kwon Si Won. Both the girls looked very similar - the only way to differentiate them was that one had a scar on her face (kwon si won) and the other slashed her neck (Do Hye Rung). Geonwoo finding the doctor's note and telling everyone about it made it easier to recognise the actual girl who created the curse (who was Kwon Si won because after the first attempt, Do Hye Rung was physically fine again unlike Kwon Si Won who still had a scar on her face). This is just my theory though.
Since I recently watched the cdrama 'Pursuit of Jade' I keep imagining the Queen Mother as an evil Yu QuianQuian who doesn't love her son. The contrast is crazy.
All the eps have been leaked but the subtitles are wrong and the sounds are distorted. Best to wait till there are official subtitles. ALSO PLEASE DON'T MENTION THE NAME OF THE SITE OR ELSE IT WILL BE CLOSED DOWN.
