Fingers crossed. LOL. And the person who decided to air 2 eps a week on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10pm (with work the following days), should be fired. Not only because of ratings, but because it's a drama with, as you said, a myriad of plots and sub-plots.

After reading that, I'm surprised this is not a Netflix original... lol
Or didn't offer as much money as Disney+ for the North American streaming rights.

The urination/golf ball scene was UNNECESSARY.
I think the best they can hope for is a happy-ish ending in which the villains are exposed and stripped of their power, which also means that BTS and Sang-ah can't or won't split up, and, yes, a what's-next-for-them open ending.

Ha! Love that Doberman. Actually, I think leaking confidential info to the media might be against the law in SK, especially if there's a death involved, and I'm hoping there's a k-drama prosecutor, who isn't on the take, will show up with his people, take her office apart, and hall her off to jail with photographers clicking away and asking her if she feels and remorse for her evil doings.

I didn't know it was inspired by real events until I read your comment. There's nothing in the synopsis or tags.…
The inspiration for the drama is probably known by every person involved in k-entertainment as well as those k-drama fans who have wondered why actresses in their 20s feel so desperate and so hopeless that they end their lives. This drama seems to hold the answer. Abuse of power by those who have the power to destroy lives and careers.

Seems like every day another person, who doesn't know that real events inspired the making of this drama, goes on some sort of a tirade. This latest one... I just hope that he knows there are support groups who will listen to him and that this site isn't one of them.

She's all about abuse of power. And the script keeps piling that on to the point where I can't believe the writer doesn't have something big in store for her.

Agreed. They have to somehow in some way prevail over the bad guys if this drama is going to do what I think the creative team had in mind.

But the other characters are catalysts, and there's no BTS character development without the actions of the catalysts.

No theory. I just don't believe that this drama is going to end on a downer, which is where it's headed right now. I'm thinking about the high school bullying dramas and how the abused kids with help from a teacher or from kids who seemed disinterested in their plight before, step up and teach that bully a lesson she'll never forget. I guess I just want a happy-ish ending for Sang-ah and her hubby.

Ha Ji-won seems to be playing Sang-ah's humiliation scenes like she's collecting them for the retribution to come, i.e. the climax. That's what I'm thinking about.

Yang-mi does seem to symbolize the most deplorable traits of people who hold power in the entertainment industry. That she's written as a woman who treats other women the same way as the men do makes it even more disturbing.
