The chemistry between the main leads was captivating in the initial episodes, particularly in the first four. However, as the story progressed, their chemistry began to feel forced and unconvincing. Despite their impressive early performances, the lack of depth in the story and unbalanced character development hindered the development of a dynamic relationship between the husband and wife characters. In contrast, other married couple dramas I've watched, despite similar plot development issues, managed to maintain a compelling chemistry throughout, thanks to the writers' and directors' improvement in subsequent episodes. Unfortunately, this drama failed to achieve the same level of consistency and growth."
With a talented cast like Kim Ji-Won and Kim Soo Hyun, and a story centered around a married couple, expectations were naturally high. However, the writer's handling of their characters felt imbalanced, failing to fully utilize the actors' potential. Despite their impressive performances, the characters' development and dynamics felt constrained, leaving viewers wanting more depth and nuance in their portrayal, as the cast's chemistry and the story's premise had promising beginnings, but the writing ultimately didn't do justice to the characters or the actors' abilities.

Yes, majority of 2022-23 kdramas works mostly - action, gore, violence, bullying, blood, beating.
But the same time webtoon adaptation becomes a Trend, after that currently now cheating ( wife or husband ) trending since January to May ...
