My theory but there are some many cops available for undercover operation but they specially choose only Joon Mo, it means he's motivated by ideals of justice they know about what were his capabilities in order to achieve the justice, still we don't know about how they meet , how they got marriage, in episode 1 his cop friend say's in his marriage day his father created some scene, and his wife family is producing elite police officer's but why she chooses to married him still we don't know the reason, but his wife knows him there's no need to prove to his family about his job
