Yes Hong sisters know what time it is. Women should be shown as humans and not just a shadow, the females in this show knows how to hold their own and that’s one of the reasons why I love it so much because it’s the same principles I apply to my own life as a woman.

Im still confused as the marriage is one of convenience and as I said before Naksu’s a free spirit, it’s not in her nature to act all prim and proper, she’s very outspoken and I Don’t see her changing to suit any society, that is one of the qualities that attracts Jang Uk to her imo.

HoGeong was even accused by her husband for cheating because she was linking up the Jang Gang, she’s a little reserved, Naksu is more like a tomboy so I’m not sure what you mean.
We have not seen any indication that women were subjected to their husbands in this show whatsoever

AOS is a fantasy drama that is not really based on a specific time period in history.
