Also her soul was never locked in the body it was just her energy ( magical powers). We saw Naksu’s soul interacting with everyone everyday so her soul wasn’t locked inside Buyeon’s body
Yes but we already knew that. We saw her choosing the other girl. Master was basically telling HoGeong that Naksu did not use AOS on Buyeon but it’s Buyeon that trapped ( intervened) basically HoGeong doesn’t know what happened so so master Lee told her so she doesn’t blame Naksu for being in her daughters body. A lot of people seem to misunderstood this .Regardless The AOS was used and that is why Jin Mu was able to use the spell that cursed the soul ejectors and it worked.
We know so little about mages, Shamans and priestesses tbh. In the opening the narrative states that the lake holds the energy and some people are able to use that energy but in the show it seems like it’s inherited by families, we were never given a clear explanation how mages actually became one. We don’t know if for example Sang Ho and every single mage in Daeho parents were mages as far as I see or thought it was more of a random selection or one can train from early childhood to become one, I’m just enjoying the show for The love plot between Uk and Naksu because everything else is falling through the ice for me. I am hoping by next Sunday’s episode they’ll stop calling Yeong Buyeon too.
Exactly, plus Buyeon did not trap Naksu’s soul, she may possibly trapped her energy because as master Lee explained the body and the energy needs not to conflict .
Read what you just wrote out loud and compare it to what master Lee explained in part two, yes they said a priestess can lock a mages soul even Cho Yeon said so but in the end Naksu’s powers and energy clearly outweighed it because in the end the most powerful Devine priestess’s soul was clinging for survival on Naksu’s energy . Also remember we don’t know the full history of Naksu because apart from her fighting skills it’s also very clear she had other special abilities. She was able to make it Rain and Snow, I’m pretty certain she froze the whole lake in the beginning of part 1. Priestesses are powerful but they’re not Gods , mama Jin is powerful priestess and she clearly needed a powerful mage( master Lee) to bring Buyeons body back because he has Hwansu abilities ( ice stone powers) So it seems a high mage is indeed possibly more powerful than a priestess. Even the fact that Jang Uk needs Buyeon to remove the ice stone is bizarre. Im pretty sure Master Lee is able to as well because initially uk asked him to help him if he needed it out to save Mudeok. This show has turned into a fan service show, let’s please Mudeok/ Buyeon fans, let’s quickly tell a story to push Buyeon under the carpet. It’s quite sad actually.
Yes I know and I fully agree with you, I wrote something similar here a couple days ago. The point is like you’re saying, they decided to switch the whole structure of the story and it’s core meaning out of sloppiness imo. It’s almost as if they completely forgot what they showed us in part 1 and make it irrelevant and we accept it because we’re so blindsided by the romance and comedy elements of the show.
Thanks. It also states clearly that Buyeon’s body was weak, and the big contradiction and confusion from all this( master Lee included )is Naksu’s energy reformed the body to make it become 1 and her own, Naksu’s soul inhabits the new body so how does it make sense that Buyeon’s blood is still circulating when Master Lee said that not even a single drop of water was in the petrified body ( Buyeon’s body) it’s Naksu’s energy that revitalised the body so isn’t it now a new body solely for Naksu. The point is no matter how many times we read or rewatch the clear message is that it does not make sense that it’s still Buyeon’s blood running through the veins based on Master Lee’s explanation. I’ll accept it because it’s a fantasy show and they can get away with anything because there’s no clear rules in that Genre but it’s a shame because I think with more efforts from the writers it could’ve been a better and more meaningful explanation. I think it’s a weak and sloppy explanation.
I have made a bet with someone that he won't unless he knows it's his mudeok let's see how it goes I would be…
Firstly I’m very sorry you went through something similar and I truly hope you get a second chance at true love because it’s rare and that’s probably why you feel that way about this situation, going into a lustful relationship is different but if love comes around don’t pass it up.🌸
I have made a bet with someone that he won't unless he knows it's his mudeok let's see how it goes I would be…
Are you being serious? 3 years is a long time for anyone to suffer a love lost especially to death( he’s suffering for 3 long years) even 1 day may feel like eternity for him. It’s not quick babe.

Sure. It’s your opinion and you’re more than entitled, I only said that because even if it wasn’t her , would he not be deserving of the chance to fail in love again? He is in so much pain that he doesn’t even want to live. Im happy to see him happy and I’m even happier for him that it will be with the same soul as he did before. Perfect soulmates.

I believe it’s important for him to fall in love with her before he finds out , at least it’ll further prove he fell in love with her soul and they’re destined no matter what 🌸
No one knows yet - our best guess is she sensed Naksu strong energy when she was grabbed and then tossed, and…
Yeah maybe if Jin Mu wasn’t so distracted he could’ve used his magic to pull her out. It happened the way it was supposed to, it was her fate RIP Jin Buyeon , gone but will never be forgotten.
