I don’t think they’ll carry in that river monster story, they probably showed it because it’s a very well known story in Korean culture and because of the river scene with Uk and Naksu, it’s just for traditional reasons why they probably showed it

I think Songrim might be passed down by merit not succession because I don’t think Master Seo Gyeong had children. Maybe Park Jin broke the rules by giving it to Dangu as he wouldn’t have been the most qualified. Master Seo Gyeong is the founder of Songrim so I suspect his sword is used by leaders of Songrim not by families

I don’t know if that uncle Seo will mess with the Jins after the Mad queen spoke to him the other day lol. As for him saying about he don’t want Jank uk to carry his blame, he said that in response to Master Heo, the current king was there and he couldn’t admit that he wasn’t his father. He also left the kings robe given to him for Uk. If he didn’t say that then Uk would’ve been in danger because they would class it as treason also Songrim would’ve came under fire because park Jin knows the truth and hid it.

I think it was park Jin’s sword but he gave it up when he stepped down as leader of Songrim.
So park Dangu is the current keeper of it. Maybe it once belonged to Madter Seo Gyeong.

At this point they’ve actually made Park Jin Cringing to watch, I truly can’t understand the relationship between him and Kim Dojoo, before he finally caught on to the prospect of a relationship with her they had more chemistry, longer meaningful chats now she basically seems to pop in out of pity because he’s embarrassing himself with these horrible foods he’s been making, I hate it!
They’ve made Cho Yeon seem so immature after they said she’s more mature ( I see no change in her so far) I’m really hoping these relationships improve soon tbh
