If Mages were from souls then Jang Uk wouldn’t be a mage because he’s the soul son of a non-Mage. I think the writers actually didn’t put much thought about these little details and trust good old me to nitpick it😭

Yeah in this show but Priestesses are generally more like religious ( deity based) practicing groups and we don’t actually see that here but then again the story isn’t Jin’s POV so maybe that’s why. Thanks🌸

I might be wrong but I don’t think mage magic is a soul thing, I believe it’s to do with the lake( as stated in the intro) Only Devine High priestess like sol-Ran and I’m guessing Buyeon had the ability to lock and contro l mages memories etc but HoGeong can’t do it. I agree with you about handling relics with ease , I didn’t think about the easier part because some high level mages also know how to handle relics. Thanks as it was actually bugging me.🌸

Priestess do magic and fight, I still haven’t seen Jinyowon priestess do anything different from what I’ve seen mages do. Ok so They summoned the ghost Sapsali but so did Mage Master Lee and that Sapsali ( RIP😭) was even working with some lower level mages. I haven’t seen any religious or non religious ( deity) rituals from any of the Jins so why are they considered Priestesses? Sorry this has been bothering me for a while.
So now that Jang Uk and Young AKA Buyeon is married, are they going to call her Jang Buyeon? I really hope They stop calling her Buyeon by next Sunday, She Deserves to be called by her real name Jang Yeong🌸
I wish Naksu( fake Buyeon) had the same hairstyle and wardrobe as Jin cho-Yeon , cho Yeon is really stylish and I absolutely loved her look for Fske Buyeon’s wedding 💒
They would’ve both died because Buyeons soul was only hanging on to Naksu’s energy so her soul couldn’t…
I understand how you feel but really we didn’t get to know Buyeon in all 20 episodes of part 1 so I’m ok not seeing her tbh plus her mother doesn’t even deserve her. That woman is not very nice.

I hope we Don’t Get Mudeok flashbacks because we can just watch her in part 1. The story needs to move forward. Please remember Mudeok’s personality was always Naksu making up a disguise to survive.
