I use to think so too until we learned that Jin Seol-Ran didn’t actually use the ice stone at all so I’m not sure how her soul would be in it but again we don’t fully know the extent of the ice stone, did it just steal Sol-Ran’s soul without her wish even though she didn’t use it? So many questions with still little answers and I’m hoping we get at least some in this here part 2

She wasn’t annoyed about exploitation if her body, she was annoyed that she was called a relic after she so-called allowed Naksu to use her body, which I didn’t understand since she’s the one that Intervened in the AOS and trapped Naksu ( I’m still upset that Naksu didn’t point out that point) But yes if you think about it it’s not impossible that it wasn’t Buyeon all along. We’re also apparently getting yet again another scene with young Buyeon, let’s see why we need to see the child Buyeon again. I could be wrong but I really don’t think Buyeon was in the body especially after the ice stone barrier incident .

Yes she washed ashore but we actually don’t really know if at that point it was actually still her inside her body, it could’ve actually been another soul hence why she didn’t know her name or family. There has to be a logical explanation as to why we keep seeing the 10 year old Buyeon,why did 10 year old Buyeon say to a older version, we did not lose the ice stone this time? Why we? What is the purpose for the young actress even in present episode( episode 19)not just flashbacks? The writers and director obviously had a reason why 2 versions of who we think is the same person to exist at the same time. Remember we already know what young Buyeon looks like, wouldn’t they just at least show us the young version transformation to the older version? They didn’t they showed us both having a conversation with Naksu inside the grown body. Another thing is we assumed she lost her memories then but could it be that the old lady thought she did because she hesitated to give her name?

Jin Buyeon died at the age of 10( I’m still holding on that ) I think we’ll see the child Buyeon explaining it at some point and old Sol-Ran revealing that she took over the body after Buyeon drowned 😅

She captivated me and so many others. I think you should speak on behalf of yourself ( it’s fine) but if you read the reviews below from today’s viewers I would say we got what we wanted from the female lead, we already knew she wasn’t going to play the pretencious Mudeok any more and we knew she has memory loss so I’m not exactly sure what you expected but for me she was perfect in her given role.
I'm not convinced that Bu Yeon's soul is inside Yeong. Maybe she just have her powers.
Maybe the lake gave her these powers? We already know the lake loves her😅 Actually that would be awesome right? If she got these extended powers from the lake, what if the lake slowly transformed her body from the petrified weak body to her original body? 😱 I like this thought in my head.
