Yes I was watching on YouTube but ended up starting rebel princess again because I found the ml and fl too corny in phoenixes. This story is a little more political and the leads don’t insult each before falling in love no stupid bickering, it’s very much like real life, I’m pretty sure they used some real life scenarios in this series, I’ll explain it when you get to season 3
I started Rise of the phoenixes but dropped it at episode 2, I just couldn’t get into it and I think I read there that the leads didn’t end up together 😭
She will be pregnant at the end and they have an adopted daughter and son as well at the end. I think it’s a good story based on the time period but almost every man in this story is in love with main girl but there’s no cheating, they have a really strong bond though others try to test it and bear in mind that she had a boyfriend who she wanted to marry in the start but wished for a hero as a joke but ended up being her soulmate ( destiny) they fell in love so naturally and maturely, I keep watching their scenes together a lot😂

They do have a good amount of time together but because their chemistry is so good it feels like it’s not enough, even if they were in every other episodes together it wouldn’t be enough.the time they spend apart each time you will understand it , I suggest you watch it because it’s a beautiful story of their love, it’s not childish, it’s meaningful 🌸
P.S the time they spent apart is due to his job as a general (Lord) he’s only really away when there’s war and duties for the emperor, you will understand and it won’t be that bad plus there’s other characters to focus on so….😃
Ok, so Zo lu( second prince is so annoying and lack acting skills) Crown prince Zi-Long looks waaaaay too old for his so called age group 🤣he actually looks the same age as the empress😂 Zi-Dan has got to be the most pathetic character I’ve seen in a series for a long time his obsession is just bizarre tbh.
Female lead, I like a lot except for how is she a rebel????? Quite the opposite in my personal opinion, I wish she and her husband had more meaningful screen time because they have amazing chemistry and damn he’s hot in these costumes and makeup. I was really disappointed that that loyal maid girl/ adopted sister left her baby alone and ended up committing suicide, I resented her for doing that to her own child because she can’t control the actions of a man . Wish the ending was a little bit more than the leads just being out in the open fields. Overall I still liked it as it wasn’t all that bad compared to some of the other cheesy ones I’ve seen before.

Yes some do and some don’t I agree, but my response was to the person that said , how can he love his fiancé and not call her for so long even if he’s upset or something of that nature and I said to that person that I’m also like that at times, I’m not a person that thinks that something negative is going to happen taking a break from speaking to a loved one for a week or two doesn’t necessarily mean there’s no love.

It still doesn’t mean that it’s lacking love. That was the point I was making. Every one is different and deal with their relationships differently and speaking to a person every day doesn’t mean that you love more than a person who doesn’t speak to their partners everyday or every week.
