That rookie actress was Park Hye Eun. She was given the job and even started filming. She was replaced because the production company and she, herself, felt she wasn't ready for that role. She WAS let go. Then she was replaced by Jung So Min, who would later lose her job to another rookie actress. The whole think was a mess. Bottom line, Jung So Min was treated horrifically. Director forgot her at awards ceremony. Any likeness of her was removed from the wrap up party after season one. They highly disrespected Jung So Min.

He begged her because he had just fired the original female lead and he had nobody. She was the "go to" and she accepted, to help him out. He then treated her that way.

Through episode 4, Lee Jung Eun and Go Min Si have so little screen time. Hell, supporting actors have more minutes than she does. I hope to see more of them in the second half, cause the first half, meh.
